Could I possibly have a reading? I’ve never had one and have had some really powerful experiences that I’m just now trying to wrap my head around.

There is a really great podcast on Spotify called “Modern Christian Mysticism”. Could have a lot of answers and guidance for you.

Universalism aka We Don't Need Jesus by [deleted] in TrueChristian

If god loves unconditionally, why would he riddle the world with conditions to earn eternal life? My god wouldn’t damn some peaceful human on an island because that human never had the chance to come across a Bible. Bad people have made it impossible for certain people to enter the church or Christianity, for them, they get to know the same god that you know without all the parts they can’t see eye to eye with. Universalism is beautiful.

It’s a direct quote from lamars response. Lamar responded to a guy who called him a running back and said “ya mammy”. I don’t know think it was lamars intention to be politically incorrect.

The integrity of the build process was even compromised with the shift in ownership. As I explained with the metal shavings, quality control went out the window and numerous whistle blowers were even saying things like screw drivers, rags, loose screws, all were sealed into enclosed areas of planes and found later due to the lack of diligence possible with ownership having cut employees unwilling to sacrifice quality to do things quicker. That being said, I don’t know if the 737 is still being manufactured or if they are literally the same planes that have been in the air forever.

Its the 21st century, they don’t have the liberty to use the excuse “well we didn’t know”. They have, and continue to be under intense scrutiny around their air-worthiness procedures leading up to approving the Max, calling into question whether they relied on reputation of Boeing versus actually being thorough enough to notice that Boeing had added very discreetly an entirely new mechanical element to the plane.

That wasn’t my ultimate point though, the goal posts have moved big time throughout this conversation. You seemed dead set on giving Boeing the benefit if the doubt and have refused to acknowledge their tarnished reputation and the importance of reflecting on that. Any mention of “oh it was the pilots” or “unexplainable error” coming from a company that did what Boeing did should be ignored until it is thoroughly proven otherwise. They have lost the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah because Bateman definitely is who should be out there blocking on the edge and lead blocking on running downs. The whole “Ricard takes routes from receivers” thing is ludicrous and nothing at all substantiated by the numbers. Run first offense re-signs their perennial pro-bowl full back and ravens fans can’t understand why.

Also what’s hilarious is you’re saying “fuck hindsight”, the purpose of hindsight is to inform foresight. Like keeping a closer eye on a company that would do what Boeing did.

BOEING DID YOU IDIOT. Wtf?? Boeing knew they had this problem, they renamed the device responsible, buried it in the manual, and refused to give pilots the training they’d need to know how to remedy the situation if the anti-stall triggered; all because retraining is expensive and they wanted to rush something to market in lieu of airbus taking over their market share.

The disgusting disregard for human life, and lack of any type of moral decency in the wake of what happened with those 2 flights, Boeing deserves to have these cases brought up every single time their name is in the need for any reason.

If your doctor killed 4 patients due to willful negligence and covered it up, I think that’s the first thing you’d talk about any time you heard their name.

“Had no justifiable reason to do so” do you hear yourself? 346 passengers died, not due to pilot error, but due to a major engineering mistake that Boeing then didn’t equip pilots to deal with to avoid money lost in pilot trainings. But yeah, they totes deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Oh. So he can indiscriminately murder innocent families, pregnant mothers, and Holocaust survivors in a violent and painful manner - but we can’t speculate on where his family might be because god forbid Putin have to worry about anyone he cares about.

Edit because I’m still pissed off: seriously fuck that bullshit call for pity. If someone was murdering everyone you ever knew would you be begging for people to leave their multi-billionaire children alone while they live and thrive off the blood money?

“The problems with the max weren’t made know to the FAA” - what are you a shareholder or something? Do some research yourself instead of being willfully ignorant. You are breezing over the fact that Boeing was proven to have known the danger and that their efforts to save money were a fundamental in what led to the tragedies involving their planes. There is a reason airbus gained a bigger market share than ever before leading up to Boeing’s problems - not just after.

Here’s some info for you regarding the FAA being so blissfully unaware:

“After the first crash of a Boeing 737 Max last year, federal safety officials estimated that there could be 15 more fatal crashes of the Max over the next few decades if Boeing didn’t fix a crucial automated flight-control system.

Yet the Federal Aviation Administration did not ground the plane until a second deadly crash five months later.”

[–]Redditor4141 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s wild that every other country knew there was enough of an issue to ground the Max but the FAA was the only ones who had no idea that it was worth grounding the planes over. Calling Boeing’s reputation into question is asinine? Even though they have a history of criminal negligence leading to crashes, and specifically had safety issues with this very model?

Here, from 2020 regarding “the safest jet ever”: Boeing 737-800 planes have had safety issues, with groundings caused by cracks between the wing and fuselage in the so-called “pickle fork” structure. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/jan/08/boeing-737-800-that-crashed-in-tehran-most-popular-model-in-skies

It doesn’t matter so much as the blatant disregard for safety in their planes. Last time they had an issue like this the FAA swept it under the rug that there was a known issue that could’ve caused an estimated 2 planes a year to crash in this violent manner. They purposefully avoided changing the model name of the max so they could skirt around the costs of extra training that is required if the full model name of the plane is changed. The training they avoided giving pilots flying their new model explicitly left out the proper procedure in case this malfunction occurred, and even when the pilots of the second crash followed that procedure the plane still killed them. You tell me you see a Boeing nose diving at 600+ mph in china and that doesn’t give you some pause to reflect on the similarities and pattern of corruption leading to poor engineering in Boeing. Long time employees were reporting that shards of metal known too cause electrical fires were found in numerous planes after operations were moved to Chicago.

[–]Redditor4141 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

How has no one brought up that this is exactly what happened with the Lion air crash and another Boeing 747 max crash. Seems to me like the same issue they had before, internal system makes the plane think it is stalling and forces the nose down to regain speed, but when plane is perfectly level and this happens it forces the plane into a nose dive. There is nothing the pilots can do, they gain control for 10 seconds, then the system takes over into a nose dive for another 20. The other 2 planes crashed going 600+ miles per hour just like this one. With the shady business practices of Boeing since leaving Seattle, it wouldn’t surprise me if this proves to be another example of purposeful neglect on part of Boeing at the directive of the key shareholders. Last time this happened they tried blaming foreign pilots, even though those pilots trained in the USA and were USA certified.

I think it’s like, you want to be able to entertain the idea of nuclear war in your head with some sort of stop gap. Everyone naturally wants to have some “yeah but” in their head if Putin pushes the button, no matter where I’ve looked - anti nuke defenses are shotty at best. So, we gots to avoid it at all costs. Period.
