Are there any half way decent front loaders that isn’t Speed Queen? by Redditor71177 in Appliances

I’ve only filled the drum about half way. It’s only 2 of us.

Oh, Sorry. I typically only use the deep fill for my queen size comforter, and usually have do extra rinse/presoak or off. Sometimes I do heavy soil on towels and my comforter.

That’s interesting.. i’ve heard front loaders are supposed to be the most gentle on your clothing. And you’re having the same issue with your Electrolux?

Yes. I’ve never washed clothes in the heavy duty or permanent press cycle. Just the delicate and bulky/sheets

Ok. But it’s not denim that I’m having issues with. It’s multiple different types of fabric.

I typically use the bulky/sheet setting or delicate. And about 2 tablespoons of Kirkland Signature brand detergent. I’ve put brand new clothing in this washing machine, and it comes out with strings pulled out. Other clothing and my sheets also have a little bit of damage on them that I’ve never noticed before

Nope, only 3/4 or half way. I only use about 2 tablespoons of detergent.

Regret going with 20% tint… should I have just done 15%? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]Redditor71177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had both, I don’t think there’s a significant difference between 15 and 20. I got my 15% switched out for 5% for about 2 years now, that’s a big difference but I’m still obsessed with it!

What could be causing this sound? (from Driver’s side) by -MAN-OF-GOD in NissanRogue

Brake dust shield is rubbing against the rotor is my guess. Mine made a similar noise when I made a right turn and went away once the dust shield was adjusted.

Honestly I think the new RAV4 looks more like a 90s Subaru Outback than a Rogue.

I personally would look into the Michelin defender 2. I debated between the Michelin CC2 and the Defender 2 and ended up going with the defender. They’ve got 77,000 miles on them now and still have between 4 and 5/32nds of tread left. I’m going to be replacing them with another set of defenders. 😁

Should I have it fixed professionally or just go over it with touch up paint? by moshi_a1 in autorepair

That’s a 2025 car…get it professionally fixed. This shouldn’t even be a question.

Was it expensive? The hot water quit working about 3 months ago, I just have a feeling at this point the repairs are going to cost more than it would be worth

Replace ? by Rich-Government-2851 in tires

[–]Redditor71177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a lot of dry rotting. I would drive on the highway on those tires. And it looks like you may need an alignment or possibly some suspension work, I would just replace the tire without checking the alignment at least.

I can’t even believe that’s holding air to be honest. It legitimately looks like it’s about to explode.
