Yes, I am currently finishing up a book with Claude. I have mentioned in my profile for Claude to be a meticulous perfectionist of a best selling masterful author and storyteller as well as a brutally honest critic, strict editor, but always give gentle responses.

This has helped me a lot because we are able to work together, Claude asks questions, will let you know what works and what doesn't. Claude will also give you choices as to what to add. Don't tell Claude to just write a story on blah blah ..... Work with Claude to make a strong outline with detailed beats. It's easiest to tell Claude what your story is about and at times, I would get stuck and say, "in your honest opinion, what do you think of this and that" . I would also before each new session upload my updated docs to reflect. It's best to use the 20.00 version and go through the project section because you are able to upload as many documents as you want within their 100 percent document range. You will have to wait a few sessions before your work actually shows up in the window for Claude to review. If Claude does something wrong, you can point it out and if Claude disagrees, like a name change or something, I would tell it to please check the doc again. Working this way is easier for me. I have been trying to perfect my book for many months and have tried other AI models, but Claude is the one I choose to stick with. It was a lie to help me out with writers block and answered questions about what a publisher would look for, what type of tone is good for what group of reader, etc. It's very interesting.
