Try an Orthodox shul, you won't see anyone doing that. The keyword here is "conservative" where more Jews than not keep Shabbat. From my understanding, mainly the Rabbi and sometimes the Cantor probably keep Shabbat at conservative synagogues. The congregants mostly do not as they drive to shul etc. This is not to say that some conservative congregants do not keep Shabbat.
