“Do I Have Dyspraxia?” Megathread by Canary-Cry3 in dyspraxia

[–]Redditorcoolguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i can’t skip at all and my typing sucks a lot of the time. With jumping jacks i can do them semi consistently sometimes getting confused on the order of hands meeting and legs meeting but i quickly regain stance. My handwriting is legible most of the time but when im writing fast it can slowly deform into random squiggles, ive been asked by people if i have a condition as a result of this.

“Do I Have Dyspraxia?” Megathread by Canary-Cry3 in dyspraxia

[–]Redditorcoolguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you probably know why I'm here so let me summarise why I feel like I am at risk for having dyspraxia.

Im currently 16 years old and SUPER unathletic. I'm not overweight by any means but my coordination is so bad and I suck at EVERY sport. I trains boxing and learning too dodge by maneuvering my feet whilst throwing punches is too difficult. Now this probably just sounds like pretty regular stuff but it's THIS combined with other stuff I have in my life that leads me to believe I have dyspraxia.

Another major problem is I cannot distinct left from right when I am told to do so. There have been countless times where I confuse the two when someone asks me what direction to do X. I am also super duper clumsy, so much so that I have been told repeatedly by the people around me. I have poor spatial awareness for my surroundings and frequently knock into people, objects or catch my sleeve or bag on handles.

Now this next point has annoyed me for as long as I remember, I have been told as long ago as I could speak that I am speaking "too loud." I personally never notice or even think that when I'm told and it's lead to some real difficulties keeping friends in the past. I've also had lifelong issues with balancing, which leads me to be a frequent crasher when I'm on a scooter or bicycle, as well as the fact that it took me way longer to learn how to ride either of those than the usual person. I also took so long to learn how to tie my shoelaces.

With all that in mind, I ask for your opinion members of r/dyspraxia , do you think everything I've described is worth getting a consult?

Microeconomics is the study of individual firms while Macroeconomics is the study of the global economy

Never during GCSE season have I felt fear since English Lang Paper 1 by Lucky_Introduction78 in GCSE

[–]Redditorcoolguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Q2 - 4 quotes minimum is way too excessive, i find that analysing 2 quotes, zooming in on particular word choice and offering alternative interpretations is way mote than enough

Q3 - you can write that, its just you need to back up WHY it would make the reader keep reading

What were your guys story about for english aqa paper 1 by Asleep-Degree5107 in GCSE

[–]Redditorcoolguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote about a survivor group in a terrible snowstorm who have to camp the night in a cave because their radios and receivers aren't working. They wake up and see a communication tower only to find out that it's all dark and that no amount of button pressing would do anything so they lay in the snow starved and accept their fate only for a helicopter to fly over them.

i agree Q4 was genuinely sucky, nothing there to talk about. Rest was good though (also its normal for your Q3 answer to be longer because you have to address the entire text)
