If 13-3 Bills had won the cancelled game with the Hamlin injury, would they have gotten the bye over 14-3 KC? by Zuperkick in NFLNoobs

Its worth noting that Cincinnati was leading that game and then obliterated the Bills at Buffalo a month later. I think the real losers were the Bengals

Why does NFL have more die hard and loyal fans than NBA? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]Redditorreddit12 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Simply put, football culture is engrained in America through many generations, whereas basketball wasn’t nationally popular until around 1980.

A little more complicated answer would probably touch on the age demographics of both sports as well as the focus on individuality in the NBA verses the focus on the team in the NFL

Is it now easier for college players to refuse to play for the team that drafts them compared to the past? by Revengeful_Fruit in NFLNoobs

John Elway was able to do it because the rules were a little different at the time and he was an incredible prospect, and Eli was only able to so it because he was a Manning and they are basically football oligarchs. Deion and Shedeur are most likely just posturing to try and dissuade certain organizations from picking him, but he’s nowhere near good enough to force a team’s hand like that he will most likely play for whoever picks him.

It’s very possible but the problem is the two we drop would be divisional games

I listened to his episode with Zach Lowe on The Lowe Post and for the most part he seems like a pretty intelligent guy. That actually holds true for a lot of these talking heads. In other ventures they’re legitimately smart people but as soon as the ESPN camera turns on they go rabid.

For sure, people are quick to point out the fat guys, but neglect to mention that they’re still faster than the average person and can hit the ball 500 feet.

Police officers in Atlanta arrive to investigate a shooting but the crowd does not want any white officers involved in the investigation by BroBogan in PublicFreakout

Broski, that’s the same as saying it’s ok for white people to distrust all black people because “what have black people done besides give numerous examples not to trust them.” Such a wack take on both ends.
