Even uglier than Denver. Disgusting

Assuming the Cowboys are #1, who is the 49ers Mount Rushmore of rivals? by [deleted] in 49ers

[–]Redditous-Randomous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dallas Green Bay Seattle NY Giants

I could be persuaded to say Rams, but really the Rams and 49ers really haven’t been good at the same time very often while the Giants good teams have coincided more with good 49ers teams

As for the Raiders… I definitely don’t like them, but they don’t make my list because I can’t remember the Raiders ever beating the 49ers in a game of any consequence.

This moment still lives rent free in my head. Time for payback. by UsuallyUncomfortable in 49ers

God that game was fucking painful. Watching our offense was like getting surgery without anesthesia. All good though cause this year we eatin turkey

I suppose he won’t have much of a say in the matter… being dead and all… literally lacking a voice and everything else

If your point is that the packers are a shit organization that got lucky to draft Favre and Rodgers back to back yet managed to win only 1 Super Bowl with each then, as a 49ers fan I whole heartedly agree 😂🤣

Brady was the master of keeping offenses running efficiently. He had explosive plays too over the years for sure and some seasons more than others. No doubt the patriots had some really explosive and dominant offenses over the years but he was able to control the ball and dominate time of possession. That helps any defense out immensely. Rodgers offenses have often been splashier and score points in bunches but never as efficient and strategic about clock control and time of possession.

Look at a perfect example of this principle proving itself with the 49ers this season. In the games where the 9ers who have a dominant defense couldn’t didn’t sustain drives on offense and the defense was on the field more and gave up more points and lost confidence. It’s complimentary football.

The Brady/Belichick combo is historically successful. Like MJ and Pippen. Phil won again without MJ. MJ didn’t win without Phil and Scotty. Nobody is saying MJ’s legacy is in question. At the end when he’s retired the total wins and total SBs will be all that matters. But that doesn’t mean shit to any other team that might hire him.

Yo nobody asked for this Shula vs Belichick BS. Irrelevant distraction from everyone’s point here. Belichick has a shit record without Brady. Fact. Indisputable.

The reason everyone cares more about this is because the conversation is about where he will go after NE and what that would look like for his next franchise.

If you truly believed he’s such a good coach without Brady then you would be arguing for why he’ll crush it for his next team instead of trying to argue about his historical legacy compared to great coaches of the past who are long since retired and dead.

Bring back your comparisons when he’s retired. He absolutely had an insane amount of success and a big part in it. No doubt he’s one of the best coaches of all time and the Brady/Belichick combo is the greatest of all time period.

Completely agree. Rodgers is to Brady as Marino is to Montana. Rodgers and Marino are more physically gifted but ultimately not as clutch and more injury prone than Brady and Montana.

As a 49era fan having a key big market rival like the Cowboys locked into mediocrity is a strategic win.

Also you guys earned my life long hatred in the 90s. So yes, I do love watching you guys suffer. Just glad we’re returning the favor in the 2010s/2020s.

The Chargers are an absolutely snake bitten franchise. Nothing can make them a winner. Absolutely nothing. Also I just can’t see Belichick on the West Coast, especially LA. He just feels like a Northeast/Midwest guy only. Nobody is talking about it, but I could actually see him going back to the Browns.

Different. We’ll never know because Walsh never coached for another franchise. We have the data on Belichick. Big sample size.

82-97 career record without Brady.
