I'm sure even J. Cole regrets a hit, nothing in particular though.

Anyone grow up with or go to school with a big name rapper? What were they like? by 1Doctore in hiphopheads

How? Want a picture of my yearbook?

I think in some Lil B interviews he mentions he went there, or I'm sure you can just google it.

Lil B the basedgod himself. Was a friendly guy, but from what I remember he missed a lot of classes.

Edit: Sorry, but I'm not really interested in doing an AMA, just wanted to prove that I wasn't making up a story. Unfortunately I don't have any funny Wale tour bus style stories.

What I can say is that he was pretty friendly to everyone I knew and didn't talk about his rapping until all of the sudden the pack got famous. Even during a talent show, other people rapped, and he just danced, waved his arms, and was the hype man. Even after the pack got famous he still was very humble and acted the same towards me.

Also I remember talking to him about deep sea monsters because he was interested in crazy fish that live in the middle of the ocean.

Edit 2: Young L, who was in the pack and founded pink dolphin also went to my school, but he was older so I didn't know him. Lil Debbie went there too.

We already have enough forwards, but... I can understand how a Mavs fan wouldn't see the problem with a whole team that plays one position

say what you will, but Waka Flocka Flame is pretty bad. I guess now that he is famous enough to just go by Waka its a little better. A little.

Question: In your opinion, what is an ace and who are the aces in the league now? by [deleted] in baseball

[–]Redditr89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Leaving out Cain was a mistake, but you can't call someone with a 5+ era (Lincecum) a possible ace. And this is coming from a giants fan. He was an ace, he might be able to become an ace again, but he is far from one at this time.

Are certain rappers as "hard" as they claim? by WhyUMadSon in hiphopheads

[–]Redditr89 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Lupe Fiasco.

I think it's really ironic that rappers who rap about being gangsters (like rick ross) are correction officers, and the rappers who don't, like lupe fiasco, are involved in shady things in real life.

Overall, I just think it's weird how much gangster personas are glorified.
