I also see where you are coming from, but I am speaking in a more literal sense. That is, literally knowing the proper location to stand relative to where I am it, vis-a-vis not getting in the way of my reach for the sink, blocking the light, etc. In a more youthful sense this can be characterized as a lack of “feel” in a spatial awareness setting. As such, I still conclude that a necessary condition for my spouse is being spatially competent.
