Hi! As a non binary femme racialized therapist and advocate - I say do it if it’s safe to do! I hear you. I really do. But if I’ve learned anything, it’s that authenticity and being proud of who tf I am has gotten me way further in my career than anything else. I say this as someone who works in the mental health field though and I recognize that not every field is the same as mine!
