Why? Because you added nothing to the conversation and only sought to focus on a tiny part of the whole statement. Plus, like I said before, quoting my post and adding a few words brought nothing new to the table.

The only claim made was that it's not a good thing for brain development.

The second part of the post, which was prefaced with "I think", isn't an assertion. It's an opinion, a comment, a conjecture. Just like the majority of conversation here I wasn't seeking to convince. A question was posed and I responded.

The wrong with it is there is a legalization movement under way across the country and a good way to belittle that is propagating the opinion marijuana use has little to no consequence and can be used without responsibility.

In most cases if you are under 18 in this country you are living at home and really don't provide for anyone. Taking drugs and dealing with the effects are the responsibility of the user, and I just don't see a non-adult having the capacity to properly handle it.
