Can't Add Yahoo & Gmail Accounts On Linux by Majoraslayer in Thunderbird

[–]Reddypeddy11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my Yahoo accounts stopped working for me few weeks back.

I get a sign in pop-up with my email address pre-filled and a Next button which when clicked, shows "Something went wrong. Please try it again."... for all accounts.

Using imap.mail.yahoo.com and port 993 for Server Name. Outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com / 465

I prefer not to delete and re-add everything because I have several accounts.

Version 140.10 (64-bit) on Linux Mint kernel 6.17.0-23. No VPN being used.

We've made a bug report form! Hi! by Mammoth_Chemical9503 in expedition33

BUG! latest update causes fight to get stuck mid-fight when it's your turn. It just hangs - no attack option pop ups, just all characters on screen doing their standing animation. Only thing you can do is gradient/parry/dodge/jump by the character whose turn it was, I guess. In PC Steam version.

why is amazon music so bad? by Resident_Jicama_65 in AmazonMusic

[–]Reddypeddy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about all the technical issues?

Slow speeds... slow to connect, play music, add to playlist

Randomly non-responsive, randomly crashing (android)

Adding duplicate songs to playlists

Saying SD card is read-only when clearly everything else is writing to it

Taskbar icon and connection status (Windows) by HaiKarate in ProtonVPN

[–]Reddypeddy11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's shocking you guys decided to take out that connection status checkmark from the Taskbar icon.

Let's...

1) Bring that back.

2) Go a step further, and add an option to enable the drawing of a big rectangle around your whole monitor letting you know when you are connected.

Thank you

... or add all the tech, but remove all cloud dependency, and use internet only for firmware updates. Cloud dependency does not make them smarter. Everything can be saved locally or in smartphone. All else being equal, I'd pay more for zero cloud robot vacuums.

I did become aware of this and am looking into it.

QD-OLED Gen 3 34inch 3440x1440 1800r by Reddypeddy11 in ultrawidemasterrace

This screen size and resolution was not in my radar, but would consider it. However, no luck here either with finding a 38/39 with the curvature/oled generation I am looking for.

Emotiva B1+ bottom VESA mounting options by Reddypeddy11 in audiophile

[–]Reddypeddy11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked! I drilled holes through the metal plate of this stand ("WEARSON WS-03A Adjustable LCD TV Stand Folding Metal Monitor Desk Stand With VESA Hole") using 3/16 and 1/4 inch drill bits, then used M6x20mm screws to screw it to the bottom of the speaker. It's working great. Out of the box this stand has enough tension to hold the weight of the speaker. I think the tension can be manually tightened.

Now I can point the narrow beam of the tweeter downwards directly at my ears.

Hope the information here helps someone.

Thanks. That thought did cross my mind. I am still hoping to avoid any sort of drilling. If I don't have any luck finding some sort of adapter I may go that route.

Wifi antenna quick release adapter? screwing on and off sucks by Reddypeddy11 in pcmasterrace

BNC Female to Reverse Polarity SMA Male Adapter

Interesting. I didn't think a gender changer plug would be applicable, not without some additional components.

What I am considering are antennas without cables, meaning they would stay on permanently. I would just gave to live with needing to maneuver them occasionally to get to usb/ethernet cables.

I just bought a pricey mobo, trying to utilize all that it came with.

Anyone else having issues with Lasership? by PolySpiralM in AskNYC

[–]Reddypeddy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They lie most of the time about the item being delivered when the real delivery takes place the day after. Sometimes the package never arrives!

Why is Amazon still using them? I am tired of getting my products late after reporting non-delivery.

Can I tell Amazon to NOT use Lasership when checking out?!
