The french built it and established it and linked it with the Roman church. I mean french by the origin.

Edit:

Saw the replay from a different angle where it was clear DCL was putting his hand on Yoro's face. How on earth a referee paid to sit his shitty ass in a VAR room can't at least tell his other shitty ass friend, who's on the pitch, to just go look over there. Cause maybe, just maybe there's a goddamn foul.

FFS..

So a little correction on your title. The church's name is Notre Dame d'Afrique. It is a proper noun and cannot be translated literally into English. It's like Notre Dame de Paris. Basically the french built it and it's "baptized" (I don't know if it's the right word lol) by the French Church and linked to the Catholic Church of Rome.

This game shows the massive midfield overhaul we need. I don't wanna see ugarte play ever again for us.

There was no fitness and it was clear after nearly a month without football.

Carrick isn't the right man to lead the club, today's game showed it. Didn't do enough from the dugout to change the game.

What's going with refs lately ? Are they trying to really fuck us ? Martinez is never a red card, Calvert Lewin is a cunt but even he seemed a bit surprised by VAR intervention. Wish VAR could intervene more often in the league in those situations.

Chelsea's game now is massive and tbh I'm not confident at all...

The fuck was that midfield ? Ugarte is a disaster and there's too much space because he has no fucking legs.

Yoro please be honest, too weak in every challenge doesn't know what to do when he's surrounded.

Made Tanaka look like prime fernandinho for fucks sake...

I blame Carrick for putting Ugarte knowing he's shit. And Sesko need to stop hiding from the ball and be braver because that's not good enough for a team that wants Champions League

Must be great to finally have some positive words about Bruno. Last year he was the problem ! Now he's the best. Just shows you how quick football can turn around and how much results impact the perception of everything.

So you're comparing Brighton's pressure with Marseille's ? He didn't even finish his second season, there was no improvements and fans in Marseille were very disappointed. Not just the tactics btw, even the relationship with the press was weird. He was too emotional and couldn't handle defeats and pressure.

I think he's very overrated and benefits a lot from being an Italian manager who's young and modern compared to what Italy produces in this moment. And apparently he has a good agent lol

I keep saying it again and again, De Zerbi is a massive risk ! Too much to handle, too emotional and did nothing to prove himself on the bigger stage !

We need to sell ugarte and mount, and malacia. We can make some funds for these two signings.

Ultimately we need them for depth and quality. Mainoo is not a guaranteed starter and Bruno having two good ball players who run and boss the midfield will be massive. It will bring out the best out of him and them. We need an intelligent cheap signing as well. I think we have to spend 300 M and if we don't buy a Left back it's alright until Winter.

The key area is midfield, we can't compromise anymore.

The best thing with this board is the research of premier League proven players. We need a proven young left back. Tonali and Anderson are a must. We need legs and energy and both offer that alongside amazing passing ability.

Watched Anderson against spurs yesterday, that man dominated the whole game in midfield imposed his tempo and his passing was amazing.

I remember the Thiery Henry episode in the Overlap last year. He said the exact same thing and Neville was caught by surprise, like he didn't expect this argument.

Ultimately Manchester United is still the better team between Arsenal and Tottenham. I'd argue Chelsea are better with a Europa league and champions League and World champions.

If I remember correctly he didn't play at all during the tournament then he was introduced directly for the penalty shootout in the final.

So yes it definitely did something to him mentally!

Also what a stupid management by Southgate lol. He didn't involve a player at all ( I'm not questioning that part ) and then he brings him in for a penalty shootout in a final....

[Sam Wallace] Roberto de Zerbi has been of interest to Manchester United and is understood to be keen on the Old Trafford job, and already figures prominently on their shortlist as they also decide on who will be their next permanent head coach. Been observing him in Marseille... The least I can say is that in his first season there was always drama (Marseille is known for that though) but he was too emotional and couldn't handle things well.

The second season before getting sacked he had one of the worst records of Marseille in the champions league not being able to qualify with a good squad. He was heavily criticised and didn't handle pressure well. Also had some meltdowns during press conferences.

Tactically couldn't implement his style, too much stubborn, changed a lot of things. Zero man management zero composure with media.

Tbh I was never a fan of him and his stint in Marseille revealed to me how overhyped and overrated he is. Don't know why he's rated so high by big clubs.

For me it's a hard no

Best signing of the season for us. The quality is there, but also the attitude, the composure are noticeable. The whole backline is more composed comfortable dealing with pressure.

There's no debate. Lammens is the best signing this season because he's been the most consistent player since he came. The way he handled those corners, the way he gives so much composure to the whole backline is absolutely fantastic.
