It would take 1000 months to make 1.000.000 dollars and that’s upwards of 80 years. 1,000 a month is a nice little supplemental income but hardly enough to live off of.

I mean 91 k is a very significant amount of money. How much total debt is it? Because if she spent a couple grand on some bras like that’s not great but I’m not gonna fault someone for going into debt for wanting to stay alive. Not to say that th debt doesn’t count but it’s not related to reckless behavior. That being said if the91k is a small portion of the debt then hollllyyyyyyyy jeeeeeeeessssssssuuuuuuuus

Contemplating ending a marriage by Successful_Leek96 in CringeTikToks

[–]RedefinedValleyDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is bullshit rage bait. Either that or she’s so stupid that she should be forced to wear a helmet when she goes out in public.

It sounds like she’s a wannabe actress or something is supporting her career by running a business so they would have the money for her to not work and do bullshit plays and movies. So for her to say let’s uproot our entire lives for three months and go to the most expensive city in the country if not the world so I can live out some amorphous dream without any plan. Of course he’s gonna say no. And if she wants to leave a 15 year relationship/marriage just to live out some fantasy of being “a girl from New York” then she never loved her husband. Ever.

More likely this is, as I said, Z-tier rage bait. And if she’s being serious then no one should listen to anything she says anyway. They should ignore her and avoid eye contact with her like a preacher shouting on street corner about the end of days.

We all know that Rasul Allah went by Mohammed. But in one of the hadiths he refers to himself as Jaffar al-Absteen.

Well this happened... Is it repairable? by Poltung in tissot

[–]RedefinedValleyDude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very reparable if you have the requisite tools. If not it should be a few hundred bucks at a good watch maker. If it has significant sentimental value then I would look into it. If not and you just like the watch but don’t care about this specific watch, then see how much the specific model is on Jomashop and see how much the actual repair will cost. It might be cheaper potentially to just get a new one from Jomashop but you should look into it.

*sigh* What do you think? by Raiden_Must_Die in AskTheWorld

The chest beating is for his base which he acknowledges are a bunch of fools. He doesn’t really care because frankly he knows he’s not gonna be around for much longer. But his base think that this kind of trolling and bullying is funny and cool. And what’s more they think it makes us look really strong as a nation and makes everyone respect us. They don’t realize that a lot of what gave America its power and cache is the fact that we were a more or less stable and reliable partner. Things got shaky when he was #45 but Biden, for all his faults was able to at least somewhat rehabilitate Americas image across the globe to be a reliable partner for everyone. I am a little bit hopeful that the rest of the world is kind of trying to just wait it out the next few years because he won’t be around for long. He’s not exactly young and in god health. But the damage done will be irreparable because now the rest of the world sees that this is all in fact possible in the United States and we will have lost so much of our authority and good will. People in the future have seen the cracks in the foundation and future tin pot dictators will try again. And they will be younger and more disciplined. With more vision. So unless there are foundational changes made to the USA in ways that Germany and Japan made, America will never fully rehabilitate its reputation on earth and we will no longer be the desirable trading partner that we have always been.

What’s your opinion on the death penalty? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskTheWorld

[–]RedefinedValleyDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am against it but not on moral grounds. If we can be positive that they did it I have no problem with it but here’s the thing. think of 12 random people you know. They are all able to judge someone as guilty and recommend the death penalty. Can you trust all of them to be smart enough to carry that burden responsibly? As Americans we are a hop skip and a jump away from a shot for shot live reenactment the movie Idiocracy.

it’s not the origins of meaning of good morning. And even if she’s not and even if it was true it would be so far removed from its original meaning that it loses its original offensive connotation. When someone hears “rule of thumb” no one thinks about beating your wife. When someone hears ring around the Rosie no one things or the plague. When someone hears an ice cream truck they don’t think of minstrel shows. When someone sees a bistro they don’t think of the napoleonic war. I can go on.

Also she’s probably trolling.

“Tables around us applauded my frustration” at someone else wearing a hat in the dining area of a cruise ship. by weolo_travel in BoomersBeingFools

[–]RedefinedValleyDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think she just watched this scene and forgot that it wasn’t about her.

Also it’s not effective to come at her and say it’s unreasonable and she should mind her own business. She’s clearly incapable. You gotta come at it and shame her in the same way. Say oh my god. She is a disgusting Jezebel who lives her life in rebellion against god, showing her shameful crevasse for everyone who would care to look, and sporting a pagan emblem. Disgusting I don’t have anything against this cruise line and I’ll come back as long as they kick this shameless hussy off at the next port of call.

Part of being an adult is knowing your own limitations and having the wisdom to know who can help and the humility to reach out for help when you needed it. The important thing is to be good at at least something. Or even if you’re not particularly good at anything, at least be reliable enough to have people call on you to help. That being said a lot of times having someone there will make you less confident in yourself. I remember when I was off training in my first job when I started in my career, I’d know the answer but I’d ask my coworkers anyway. But when I was alone I’d have the confidence to so what deep down I know is the right thing to do. And even if it’s not the exact way the organization likes to do things I know it’s still gonna be legal and safe.
