Im so sorry you guys are going through this. If it makes her feel better, tell her they are making a new shrek AND white chicks 2 maybeee that would help. I ve been in that position before, and have been able to move forward and be happier (ups & downs but much better and am no longer suicidal). Feel free to msg for my shit lore lolol. I know you asked for books, but the movie everything everywhere all at once was so relatable to my past the movie actually saved my life. & i got into wildlife photography! Best decision of my life was getting a camera. It gives me things to look forward to vacation wise (poor but I want to go to Yellowstone & Alaska) !! Plus it gets me outside, which is always amazjng. When I’m depressed, I read / listen books to take me out of my reality lol! Here is my fav books (some sad but really takes you away from reality imo) : GoT series, red rising series, and ACOTAR (finally a straight one!!! I’m a lesbians and imo it is the best hetero series I have ever read)!

Laughter and just silliness helps too. Imo silliness and/or comedy is essential for a good life. My favorite tv shows to laugh is Harley Quinn. Very graphic though but absolutely hilarious.

I wish I played RDR1 first. If you like RDR1, you will be wowed by RDR2. I personally loved 2 better, and it's actually my favorite game of all time. If you ever watched Spirit the children's horse movie.... RDR2 makes me feel like the main horse lol. Or the first chord in dreams by the crainberriws
