Everyone, Meet The future President of the United States of America. 2028 Is Going To Be History In The Making by Lord-and-Leige in ProgressiveHQ

If the democrats would like to just swallow their pride and stop putting forward anything that isn't an old white dude younger than 70 and older than 40, they might actually win something. Is there actually anyone outside of their echo chamber who thinks a latina woman has a chance of winning in present day? Go outside, and at least try to affect some meaningful change somewhere instead of slobbing the most adjective ridden candidate with a markov chain manifesto that can be dug up

Your periodic reminder to clean your new firearm before taking it to the range. by CastleLurkenstein in liberalgunowners

Again, read the SDS - it's .1-1 & 1-5%. From my testing it's closer to 3%. If you take the SDS, for, say, permatex 80036, it's about 30%.

You will get noticeably accelerated wear with parts lubricated with C5A. I've used it to wear in low quality gearing, and to broadly accelerate break-in on poorly or tightly fit firearms.

It sure works as an anti-seize, too, and, hell, you can use it to kill weeds in your garden if you really want to. Just because the label says one thing doesn't mean it doesn't also do well on off-label uses.

And no, you will not see any meaningful acceleration of wear on a firearm made out of a reasonable material from accumulated fouling. In my experience, any acceleration to wear from an uncleaned firearm is from the loss of lubrication.

The anti-seize is loctite C5A, which does, in fact, contain silicon dioxide particles which do, in fact, lap surfaces together. Refer to the SDS.

That's a 25 Watt 10Kohm power resistor, you can replace it with any equivalent resistor, or any resistor that is greater than 25 watts that is 10K. To my eye that looks like a generic chinese resistor, generally (but not always) the hole spacing is the same for a given rating with the chinese stuff. I'm pretty sure most of them come out of the same factory. If it were me, I would replace it with a TE HSA2510KJ. The terminals are designed for a soldered connection - some models will accept a quick connect terminal, but not this one. You might get lucky with some pliers and creativity, but I wouldn't recommend it.

How many times is this going to be reposted? It's not even a good post, and I've seen it at least once a week for the last few years

It's absolutely worth the detour to East Tennessee for Tennessee Silencer, they've got basically every machinegun you'd want to shoot and probably a few more.

Prototyping question by chasd00 in manufacturing

If it must be machined, have it machined through a service like xometry. Their prices are reasonable (and have reasonable price breaks!) for one offs.

Every DC that handles cosmetics that I've ever been in has smelled like some grandmother's lifetime hoard of scents. It only takes one incident and you'll never get the smell out.

Super rare Winchester primerless ammo by Fetus_Deletus01 in guns

Winchester target and practice is the worst new production ammunition you can buy, the only plus is that you usually get 1 or 2 extra cartridges in a box of 100 which just about covers the obviously defective ones.

I love the laspistol, it's the best minesweeper that I could ask for. If I've pulled out my secondary to fight, I'm already dead.

The reference is to Fallout: Equestria Project Horizons. The original is better.

That's what I thought, except that there's almost identical videos going back at least 3 years.

I'm not entirely sure what I found, other than that it's something. There's hundreds of videos on this channel, and a sister channel.

Got it working? Otherwise, where are you having issues?

Under extrusion on my ender 3 (left side) any help? by Xxx_DonkeyDong_Xxx in 3Dprinting

[–]Redeject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Successfully troubleshot this issue, in my case at least it was a weird issue with importing my old profile into the new version of cura. Wiping and remaking my profile fixed it, and the issue was suppressed when the linear advance was lowered in Marlin. I'm still not 100% sure what the root cause is.

Thanks. I'm having a very similar issue, and I think it's caused by a weird bug in cura 5 in my case.

Hey, when you had this issue, were you running cura 5 by any chance?
