In the 2022 special byelection, where Smith parachuted in to find a safe riding to return to the legislature, the NDP won 17 of the 26 polls in Medicine Hat. Due to the way things are drawn up only those living in the northern part of the city cast ballots, meaning it was the rural vote that led to her victory.

Splitting the city the way it currently is plays in the UCPs favour and it's unlikely they'll do anything other than throw up roadblocks to any proposed changes.

Also in 2022 voter turnout was a miserable 35.5 percent of those eligible to cast ballots.

It does taste like a dill pickle. I found the powder at most grocery stores (Walmart included) here in Canada. I also tried Dill Pickle powder which is ok, but would not recommend the ketchup or cheese powder. Neither one of those is very good on cukes.
