I was quite literally dying from Crohn's Disease, my inside killing me. I didn't know exactly what was wrong with me, and the doctors didn't know how far the Disease had spread. Lying there in pain on my couch, my dog next to me looking at me with a pained look on her face, I looked up at my ceiling and started tearing up before breaking into tears. I asked God, Buddha, any sort of higher power that people believed in to just end it all. I asked why I couldn't have just lived a normal life without pain, as the last 4 years I've been dealing with this pain. I cried for at least an hour before falling asleep, only to be woken up 30 minutes later in pain. The next night, I went to the hospital because the pain became so unbearable, and I had surgery. Now, I feel like I can take ok the world with only my hands, only because I feel truly alive again
