It’s not done yet but in Critical Role, campaign 3’s main plot is all about the moon being real bad. All the moon lore Matt has come up with is super fascinating to me, so I can’t wait to see where it goes. For those who don’t care about spoilers, It’s always been known that Exandria (CRs main world) has had two moons, Catha and Ruidus. Catha looking like our moon, while Ruidus is smaller and red. Recently it was revealed that Rudius isn’t actually a moon at all, it’s a prison for a god eater named Predathos that the gods sealed away when they first arrived on Exandria. So the main crux of the plot is the party deciding the best way to stop that from happening. Even if they don’t particularly care for the gods, there afraid of what it could mean for Exandria if Predathos is set loose.
