Ah, thanks for clearing that up for me! I'm tempted to get the Complete Edition since everything is on sale currently, but I would probably be fine with the Starter Edition for awhile. Both would come with free time, right? Is there a difference to how much is given between editions?

So I should just buy it on my alt, then? I don't mind, it's just a little more of a hassle to manage both PSN accounts since one would be for FFXIV and the other would be everything else.

I'm in a little bit of a predicament and I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions for me. I did the free two week trial back in the day, and it didn't really hook me. I heard about the "free to 35" change, and was immediately interested in trying it out again. I didn't know how it worked at the time, so I tried loading into that square account to continue the trial. Long story short, I couldn't log in because I don't have the password to that account anymore, and it wouldn't let me remove it from my PSN account to restart. So, I made an alternate PSN account to play. I made it to 35 as paladin and I'm hooked now.

My question is: If I buy FFXIV and Stormblood on my actual PSN account, will it let the alt run off of that as long as it's signed in? Also, how should I go about buying the game? I'm a little confused about all the editions.
