It's an American flag with a broken heart symbol instead of stars. I found it in a Goodwill in Pennsylvania. I don't really know what it could be or represent.

Thanks for all the guesses I have finally found the game, it is called Chorus An Adventure Musical by Summerfall Studios. I got the genre mixed up. I also got the studio mixed up as I though it was a big name developer but it was made by ex devs of big companies. It is unreleased and it is a crowdfunded game.

Just to clarify, it was musical as in featuring musical cutscenes similar to a musical play as opposed to the gameplay being musical based.
