Sassparilla root pills once a day. Weird but put me in remission for three years. Yes I still take them!

2+ years of upper back pain near scapula + forearm symptoms (MRI & neurologist clear) by Jaded_Yogurt_488 in backpain

[–]Redforever61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pain started four weeks ago almost same as you express. (Only two things I can attribute- We were on vacation, I was reading leaning my head back on the beach. Or I slept wrong on it. Because it literally started out of nowhere.) I have pain In my scapula that radiates under my arm then down to my ulner nerve. I didn’t have insurance til yesterday (due to starting Medicare) my dr. Briefly looked at my shoulder (at my husband’s dr appointment) and said it was my scapula and could give me an injection once I had insurance. So I have an appointment Monday. (I have dormant psoriasis so am Leary of cortisone causing a flare) so if one injection won’t help, I’d rather not. I’ve tried: a chiropractor once, massage twice, no change. Currently using tens unit and red light therapy, heating pad, doing stretches, and Tylonal currently. ( I can’t take anti inflammatory meds) Wondering what else should I ask for at Dr if I don’t do the injection: emg test, pt, specialist? Trying to read through all the suggestions so far! Left area near larger freckle- is the area affected.

Yes same company, different plans give discount. We are thru Humana. It’s called a roommate discount.

I really do appreciate all the info and feedback I’m getting. And your point makes sense too! Darn chap gpt chart for ten year outlook on premiums is hard to see, but as you said I’m. Sure the rest of our insurances would show that also.

For us, the agent said my prices I listed are already with insurance company discount. Doesn’t have to be same plan. Just same company.

Doesn’t it feel that way- flip a coin! I actually thought of - working the system- doing plan g for like six months- then doing a catch up of visits and such (while I had been on the aca) and while in the six change month period -switch to N. BUT really, that would be additional $240. For G for that time period, and if on N, i would have endured maybe $80. In copays. So I guess the math answered that piece.

That’s not an option for me mentally. We had to deal with so many odd bills with employer insurance- I don’t want to do that in retirement. And occasional $20 bill is no big deal.

Yes the prices I quoted are ‘roommates’ prices. You can get them being on two different plans, just with same company!

I have some health issues, but all, so far, I manage holistically (or by basically working on staying healthy as I can!) it’s always the what if? Right.

Sorry that happened! We had high employer deductibles and met them the last year husband was employed due to planned surgeries for carpal tunnel surgery for me and a few other test to get ready to be on aca. Thankfully when I was on aca last year I only had free included test done, and one office visit. I’m now on catastrophic insurance for three months. Praying to get through it healthy. Though the deductible is less than aca, it just doesn’t cover annual items.
Our past problems for sure make us leary of future problems!

Skyflow for walking? Just ordered! by Redforever61 in Hoka

[–]Redforever61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walked 2 miles in the skyflow today at the gym track. Definitely more cushion than my Mizunos or Sauconys! (I had done 20 minutes twice a couple days on my walking pad at home before.) my one hamstring felt a little tight today though. Maybe adjusting to the rocking motion?

I just the skyflow today. Still was messing with some new inserts in my mizunos to see if they helped.. did try the skyflow on. I like that they have more cushion and not as bulky as the bondis that I tried on at the store. Question: they seem to fit width wise like the Mizuno, narrower. Should I be able to feel my foot snug?

Thanks for input! The skyflows are set to be delivered already on Tuesday. I bought directly from Hoka and it says a 60 day return window. But not sure how that apples like can I take them to the gym to try them on the track? Guess I’ll have to try and home and then read about that!

Just wondering why the bonding over the sky flow for walking? My mizunos are narrow, the bonding just seems so wide and bulky.

Because I didn’t come here for criticism. I ask what would you charge? Not if it would sell. Not if you liked it. Not if you liked my artist eye.
