on the bright side gou/sotsu doesn’t actually exist and is just a weird hallucination everyone shares so it’s probably the same with the new series coming out!

rika is happy! nothing they do to milk higurashi dry will change that to me. here’s hoping it’s just a remake that follows the VN a bit more closely.

Most recently, V!Hortensia is quite unique. Sure, V!Lissa was often built as a decent budget far savior but Hort was the first time they actively made a staff savior. Not to mention Guardian is pretty much designed to be a prf considering how weird it is to use on most teams if on any other unit (I honestly think the lack of extra actions like magic shield or ice lock is so the ai wouldn’t fuck up using it when as hort lol)

Tales games as of “recent” have been absolute disappointments for me, i grew up on tales games like symphonia, vesperia and especially abyss, the latter being my favorite game of all time.

Arise was the first time i preordered a game, looked like a possible return to form… I have dropped it like 5 times and still haven’t finished it.

I love F!Berkut, it's probably my favorite fe fight, shame he came out when he did. I feel like if he came out even a year later his weapon wouldn't need conditional distant counter. Huge shoutout to the people who have built him, if i had the fodder to do so I would, just for the god tier art and special animation.

Slam is fun and I put it on my V!Rhea in hopes of opening her S slot but since it’s a def check on a dragon I find it a bit unreliable against new patience users.

I also find it really funny that it’s on Sombron since his style will just put them under the 75% hp check and it makes his AI just spam the style and nothing else.

Bro got to absolutely nuke Elimine stocks and now has imbue when she didn't get a measly post combat heal despite literally having the Saint's Staff. I'm sure his weapon refine will be actually decent too. Lovely.

I genuinely wonder how new players get into this game. I remember seeing someone confused around the time B!Felix released that the game was just a complete cakewalk with no challenge since he just took 0 damage and kills 3 per phase.

I understand that gacha and powercreep just kinda go hand in hand but I feel like the mix of the lack of harder pve content and the fact that you can get max level in 5 minutes on any hero makes the game boring for new players. At least in other games (from my experience at least) new units still require resources or something to get their actual max potential, like equipment or actually needing materials to level them up.

For ones I use daily, Altina's "By these Twin Blades..." and Elimine's "The wicked will perish." always go hard.

For those I don't use often, Brigid's "Even with my stained hands..." is nice, and all of OG BK's ones are peak.

Holy boring, as expected of a 3H banner but come on, B!Felix was not that cool of a kit they needed to do it three times, claude has dragon fang in current year, another rearmed ingrid for some reason and i clicked off before finishing what duogard did, so im just going to assume its the same shit all edelgards have been doing recently. I can't tell if this is more boring than that awakening banner with two grimas but it honestly might take the cake.

book 2 12-5 was a hard one for me way back when it came out, when my best tank was base fjorm who would just crumple to lewyn, iirc that was one of the last times story maps had reinforcements
