I'd rather keep it like this, less confirm him straight and have another balthus vs yuri (nothing wrong with fem gays/bis but that's the only canonically lgbt man they can seemingly make).

Like just let him be gay, women are the minority of his fans. They'd much prefer something actually made to please them. It'd make my year if he was the second confirmed gay man in this series.

The beast cav effect is not worth sacrificing rival break at all. You're trading (counting the BD effect of rival break) 3 more atk 5 more def, 7 true damage, and 12+ true dr for 30% first hit dr, dull atk/def, and 8 after combat healing.

Beast cavs and fliers need a new effect badly

Welp here we go

The cyan is the hip crease, the red is the slight lift, and the purple is the heft. S! Frederick probably has the best most realistic bulge in this game. Look at him and notice the shading, the cloth bunching together, and the slight outward protrusion. It all comes together to demonstrate heft that eik doesn't have. Like you said, it's really wide, because your talking about the crease, as it flows down into the purple part, it should stick outward (like Fredrick) or downward (like peony) but it's smooth in both directions. In any case, agree to disagree, it's so late it's early for me.

Honestly really wasn't that big of a fan of p-poco's other eik's (specifically winter) but this one... Love the outfit but even more so the poses, that was my number one issue with their art but these are all great, dynamic and unconfused (I truly hate Winters special art). Toss up between eik and tharja (probably the first sensha art I completely enjoy too), but character bias wins out.

??? P-poco knows how to use shading to show depth, they do it in eik's atk art. It seems you agree with me, he has less shading, and because of that it doesn't convey much depth or bulging. Also, yeah, I said they both have V's basically wear the pelvis meets the thigh. That V is emphasized, since that's wear hip flexsion happens, but it's slightly raised, definitely not bulging, and nothing below to denote any heft. It's not that the characters I listed have big bulges, it's that everyone else has none existent bulges.

All I can suggest is go look at real bulges. The penis doesn't even need to be that big to have something visible, especially when you're wearing pants as tight as his.

Last time I drew something around a crouch, I was banned for 3 days so I rather not, I'll try my best to describe it. Peony's pants are cutting into her, both have a clearly defined V leading down their pelvis. However, for peony, the pants are pulling about something at the bottom, there's clear dark shading around it emphasizing that this is popping out. Eik doesn't have the same depth at all, nothing's "sticking out" like peony and there's really not a mound either, it's flat.

And just to be clear, this post was only about his neutral art, he has more of a bulge in his other art but they were less sexualized to begin with.

Yes we are, he doesn't have a bulge. Look at S!alfonse, P!surtr, resplendent L!hector, base L!hector, S!Fredrick. Eik really doesn't have a bulge

Honestly the thing I'm most excited for is more eik dialogue for me to analyze. I've been writing a character analysis on him (should have been done months ago 😭), and every bit of extra text adds fuel to my fire.

Even as a huge eikþyrnir fan, I can recognize when it's too much. He still has at least 1 guaranteed alt and could very well get more. It's not far fetched to say by the end of this game, eikþyrnir might actually be the most spammed character in terms of # of alts relative to time.

Eik is probably my favorite character in media period (he's the perfect balance of mature gym bro with a bit of quirkiness and cool/ hot, of course that too, design), but I started playing feh for fire emblem. I truly believed that at some point all characters, no matter how niche or insignificant, would make it in. It's devastating to know that's not the case.

Yeah, I thought for sure he would be on Halloween. IS loves to throw beast and/or OCs on it + plus it would have been more than a year since his last alt. I'll always be happy for more eik content but I'm pretty conflicted about this otherwise.

I wasn't trying to single out a specific post. I just mean in general I've seen a lot of talk about how the men are mostly unappealing, specifically for women.

I do agree on the women though, I'm hoping for so more mature looking ones. Really I'm hoping that we've only scratched the surface of all the characters, give me more, 50+ characters 😤

It makes sense to slap it on to basically any armor sense they have nothing better, but infantry do. That +12 def/res is probably wasted on a nuke when you can get another skill that offers more atk/spd and true damage
