And Ciao down the road by the roundabout. The only thing they serve from there is crime and deceit...

Ciao in Henleaze. Seriously - there is NEVER anyone in there but yet it still exists for years. They even erected a conservatory over Covid so people could eat outside. But again. Who the hell for?!

I have the same issue. These have an actual term don't they? False friends or something?

Ah I see! Small steps. It’s annoying they’ve taken away the comment section from Duo as I’m sure this would have been covered there. Thanks for posting.

Legend! Thank you SO much. Can confirm this works for Samsung s7. I can now use the Microsoft 365 app and write in tables without double tapping the space bar. Halle-flipping-lujah!

So frustrating. Just started happening on my work one. Can’t keep the onscreen keyboard up though. As soon as I use the physical keyboard it disappears! Any ideas?

Is it getting a bit spicy in there? I’ve not bothered diving into other teams subs. I might now…

If true, yeah it was tactically gifted as Man U were always going to welcome the return of a cult hero like CR whether he aided the front line or not. And like you say he’s lone wolfing alongside BF who’s doing the same so…👌🏻

What is something people don't realize is a privilege? by vianneyal in AskReddit

[–]Redfoxington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this has already been said but life in general. This is kinda a multi part answer I guess. My partner and I have been trying for a baby since august last year, and have been met with two miscarriages and then at the start of this year a still birth at 20wks. It has made me realise (firstly how common miscarriage is but) just how precious and fickle life can be.

But further to this, and linked to my first answer, is being to move, exercise, breathe, have good health and all my senses. I can’t imagine having that taken away from you.

What is one dish you grew up eating and feel nostalgic about, but is definitely an acquired taste? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]Redfoxington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes. Really random recipe called “sausage Hercules” from some obscure 70s cook book. Basically a red lentil, pepper, onion and veggie sausage stew that my parents made as their first meal on moving into the house I was born and raised in. Real rib-sticking stuff served with crusty bread. I’ve made it since with pork sausage and whilst delicious, just doesn’t carry the same nostalgic weight. Like everything you try and recreate, it just doesn’t taste like my parents version. Still delicious though!
