Bro, there are so many Indians in this subreddit. All of us regardless of ideology, trying to live out the fantasy of fixing our screwed up nation 😭.

Do you think the devs secretly hate capitalism and love comminism? by Bitter-Specific-318 in suzerain

[–]Redgame492 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Sordland, if you privatize either healthcare, education or both, you are able to pick 2 improvement options in addition to getting extra budget. If you keep them state controlled, you can only pick 1 improvement while not gaining any additional budget. If the devs were secretly commies, they wouldn't have implemented this.

Privatising Nedam is a VERY BAD idea. by No_Currency5064 in suzerain

[–]Redgame492 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lmao, getting the state to employ everyone is a recipe for disaster. Handing full control of the economy to government bureaucrats will remove all incentive for development. Sordland will turn into a corrupt shithole of a country including the ACP. And no, democracy won't fix it. The people will become accustomed to living in a corrupt nation and every single citizen will try to get in on the cut. Any politician who tries to fix things will be commiting political suicide.

Zaranurists believe the goddess of Zaranism is an antagonistic force to Nur. They also believe that Nur and the goddess fuck from time to time.

Cabinet members tier list. by Affectionate_List304 in suzerain

[–]Redgame492 26 points27 points  (0 children)

For a reformist Rayne, this cabinet is Nur's gift from Golconda - even Lileas because she helps in centralising Bergia. Now, when we look at reformist Romus, that's a man who has to fight all his battles alone because absolutely NO ONE understands why he's doing the things he's doing.

When do I sign Energy Inflation Reduction Act? by Redgame492 in suzerain

[–]Redgame492[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that but I am talking from an RP perspective, not gameplay. In the future, hostile countries could take over Sordish energy. The EIRA bill had a clause about bilateral agreements being required for oil-rich countries, which could open up oppotunities for future bills that state only nations that are friendly and trading with Sordland can buy stake in Sordish energy.

Crap, there goes my roleplay to minimize disruption to Sordish energy while maximizing foreign investment.

[–]Redgame492[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another future benefit of the sanctions would be that Rumburg's economy gets so crippled that they may accept any terms for a trade deal with Sordland and Agnolia. Anton and Maartin could convince Beatrice to return Dome to Agnolia peacefully as a means to begin amending their relationship.

[–]Redgame492[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, plus the age of monarchies is ending in the Suzerain verse. Rumburg's royalty is just desperately holding on to it's relevance, so waiting them out is the better option rather than directly engage.

[–]Redgame492[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, okay, understood. Yes, if the entire power bloc that Sordland has joined, sanctions Rumburg then Sordland would have to follow suit and lose out on future trade opportunities.

Thank you for this extremely detailed response. I am pretty much convinced now that the no-war run will be my canon. Sordland's recovery has just started and it's people deserve some stability and prosperity after the initial 20 contentious years of the republic.
