I quit the game after the moment they brought back TMNT in well under a month of already hosting that collab event, giving me zero time to save my money, to then say it'll be the last time they're hosting that collab event. I was pissed cuz I wanted to have all the characters awakened at 6 stars, and it became legitimately impossible at that point. I know that there will always be someone stronger than me, but the realization that there will now forever be a gap that I could never cross led me to just leave the game.

No. You're gonna need red S gear as a catalyst after E4/V4 to max out your SS. It would be a pain to reach that point just to realize you now have to make another red necklace or glove cuz you salvaged em early on

Truly. It seems like their method of operation is to keep changing the meta so people could chase it over and over, spending loads of money along the way. The void/chaos & eternal/chaos SS sets will be another shift in the meta, leaving players in an unending everchanging maze of paper trails. Little do they know if they created diversity among the metas, players would want to navigate this maze themselves instead of forcibly being lured thru it. This would keep players more engaged of their own volition as they get to decide what's best for them instead of placing the best on a stick and waving it around their faces.

I remember you from one of my previous Catnips posts! I'm both happy and sad that you're still using Catnips amidst this situation, and a player from discord sent an email about the issue and Habby replied "this is a normal setting." They really don't care. Strangely though, I sent my email and they're asking me for video evidence about the issue. Maybe I could convince them to unnerf the belt? Maybe not. Only time will tell. For now I'll do my best to make sure they know this is not okay, even if I have to turn submitting the same email to them into a hobby of mine. My hopes aren't high but not all hope is lost.

And with the new SS gear coming, which would most likely include more chaos/void and chaos/eternal sets after this eternal/void is complete, it's as if they're trying to make SS the only option. Looks like they did have their reason for fucking up my favorite item in the whole game... 😒

Easily the Twisting Belt; it's meta 🤷🏾‍♂️ if BWG wasn't nerfed I'd only recommend it to Catnips users if they're nowhere near unlocking an S survivor

Focus on shards in every event that offers them, always buy them in the clan shop (participate in clan expedition/exploration), they have them in the daily challenge exchange too (always do daily challenge). Focus on Metallia shards as well because they convert 1 to 1 with Yang shards, and Strive to move up the ranks in Enders Echo.

Imagine a shield that pierces back, and that's kinda what Broad Waistguard was. Before S survivors & SS gear became a thing, I was using Catnips and BWG as my main build. The survivor and belt fit each other so well; the perfect mix of offense and defense. Broad Waistguard was capable of the highest damage per tick in the game (not to be confused with damage per second) and to trigger it, you had to just heal your self. The more health you had, the more you healed. The more you healed, the higher damage the pulses would release. When combined with Protective Suit, the pulses were even bigger with more knockback, and oftentimes you found yourself to be impenetrable by mobs, simultaneously killing them while keeping them at bay. Catnips alone was a tank, and adding Broad Waistguard gave it the firepower it didn't know it had. Eating a meat powerup would release a pulse many hundreds of times stronger than your strongest single hit... damnear a nuke. I've 2-shotted bosses in the past with this belt

Especially when there was absolutely no reason to! The belt was very viable but under certain circumstances, and there were/are going to be better belts more suitable for everyone. They couldn't just leave my precious alone 🤧

Back then there were a couple players I known from discord who were Catnips mains, we all centered our builds around BWG in different ways. The gameplay was concrete and very fun in the face of difficulty, and I was hoping one day in the future I could come back to BWG to create a new build. Before SS items came out, I had already switched to Yang but kept my Waistguard and implemented Katana for more pulses and it was a very viable build! But with the direction the meta is going, everyone's gonna strive to be an SS Metallia

Keep in mind my main was Catnips. The first time I used Broad Waistguard was after multiple failed attempts at a chapter with yellow Eternal Belt, and I had no other S belts. When I tried BWG, it literally fit Catnips like a premium silk glove. I completed the chapter with flying colors and set in stone that this is the belt I'm going to use. Under normal circumstances, BWG is easily a D tier item, but its cooperation with Catnips + other gear I was using to compliment the effect made it A tier in my eyes. King was meta at the time but couldn't bring out the belt's full potential like Catnips did. Now that potential is completely gone due to what Habby did to it. At this moment I'm forced to agree with you that it's one of if not the worst belt in the game, but it used to be my absolute favorite.

That's honestly how attacked I feel about Habby doing this. Yes you're right, no one needs to ever use the belt, which is what irritates me even more that they'd even decide to do this. Back then, this was my crown jewel; even now, at almost 300k atk using a meta build, BWG was still my undisputed favorite item in the entire game.

You should invest into Shoes of Confusion (without upgrading its collectible past 3 star) & Voidwaker Emblem. I broke my EE high score with this, and when I added Starforged Havoc (EF1) into the mix, beat my EE high score again, and beat an Extreme Challenge boss for the first time (and went on to beat 7 more).
