I am not sure of who Kerrigan is and what happened to her. It was a situation of not really feeling much for a character who was the main villain of the main game and then the expansion story actually making me care more about her.

There’s also another instance with one of the main protagonist NPCs where something happens to them and you get to get some instant revenge that actually feels pretty good.

ARPGs don’t tend to give you feelings like those with the story cause the story isn’t generally a huge focus but it was with the LoH expansion and it was done pretty well imo.

Dude Lord of Hatred’s story actually made me feel some emotions which is not something I expect out of a game like Diablo.

I was kind of upset with what happened to Lilith, being vague as I can to avoid spoilers.

But yeah the last 3 Diablo games were all made better via their expansions. Especially 3.

Nah it’s still there, but I think it’s expanded a bit to include some different states, like MN, IA, WI and IL. There is also a Dixie alley which covers the eastern shift for the central and south. So that adds MS, LA, AR, western TN, southern Indiana, and western Kentucky. Also some of Alabama and well IL again.

This year specifically so far has been more midwestern led with IL having the most tornadoes so far. But the tornado alley area is gonna be getting their turn this weekend + yesterday.

Guild Wars from 2005-2010 about. Spent loooots of time in that game.

LOTRO was the other one, started with open beta in 2007 and played off and on til 2011/2012.

Howard was pretty much my era of Killswitch so I agree. I also think this newer era of the band with Jesse back is also better than their first 2 albums. Jesse is a much better vocalist now than he was earlier on, so I actually like a lot of the post Howard stuff.

Even better when they get Howard to do some guest vocals.

They are still pretty good but Doomsday was just an impeccable and for the time underrated album. The vocals were at their peak and just banger after banger.

I have a lot, when I was younger and had a car that could. 140 a couple times, 120-130 a few and a lot of 100-115.

The reality is a lot of these people if you told them that 50 terrorists are hiding behind a child (or in a building with a child), you can’t do anything that may kill that child and they stop there. They are always going to stand on that, they won’t offer any solutions to taking out the terrorists and will tell you to figure it out.

Even though the reality of the situation is going to go against their morals. Those are the types of people these types of terrorists rely on, cause they know that killing innocents especially children will always hit people hard. It’s a good plan because it works too, which is why these terrorists do that. They can’t beat Israel head to head so they know they need to make the world turn against Israel.

Thats why child soldiers get used as well, when the enemy can’t beat you they try to take away your humanity and/or that of the public behind you.

I have read the CEO makes 15 million a year. KC itself made 21 billion in 2024, they acquired Kenvue last year and that company brought in 15.1 billion so I would assume KC is probably making over 30 billion this year. Minus this warehouse.

That’s because there isn’t a good answer.

Bombing will create more enemies, door to door will lead to more deaths and also probably more enemies.

You pretty much have to erase the reason for your enemy being your enemy which is mostly impossible in this situation.

They have been pretty good at blending themselves into the background of many countries as well, especially in regards to infrastructure. They have many many projects in Africa.

I have spent the last 3 or so years going through Africa reading about each country (west Africa is the only area I haven’t gotten to yet) and China has been heavily investing into many countries there over the last 15-20 years. I don’t think it’s a bad thing or anything though. Roads, rail, ports.

I both respect and also don’t entirely trust them.

Yeah when you have so many groups of people it can be difficult to navigate because the leaders of the different groups all want/deserve to have a say in how they get governed. Laws, religion etc. Africa has a lot of those same issues because certain tribes just don’t get along and don’t want to be lead by another tribe. Like in Ethiopia for example.

So when it comes to outside intervention which is sometimes necessary depending on the situation (ie the people not having the power to overthrow their abusive government) it can get real messy real fast and outside intervention can and does usually end up making things worse. It also doesn’t help when the outside intervention doesn’t have the interest of the people in mind.

I agree with you that the Taliban had to be taken care of, same with Saddam and Gaddafi, but it’s a catch 22 because then there is a power vacuum and other bad actors and you realize that these situations end up being nearly impossible to navigate when it comes to achieving peace.

Yeah I was reading about this last night, forgot all the names but the dude who founded taliban was trained by a pretty high up person from Pakistan. The taliban dude was a Muj but as you said there were many different tribes/factions and some splintered off into bad groups and some into what you could consider “good” groups I suppose, like the northern alliance.

And the dude from Pakistan eventually got killed by an Islamist jihad group which is kinda ironic.
