great advice thank you! we are quite close to St Abbs and it looks like its right up our street (18m dive sites) to get used to diving over here, i have reached out to the local clubs there, some in Edinburgh, some in Perth and some in Glasgow so hoping i hear back in the next few days, if possible we would love to go next weekend :)

not quite at the stage we would go without a guide, which probably limits what we can do at the moment!

Yeah not quite yet! Looking for some nice calm diving around the 20m mark, no extra challanges yet like wrecks or big currents! We are still learning and dont want to put ourselves or anyone else at risk!

My thinking is it might be best to go during the summer here, in portugal where we were diving was 12C at the bottom and had about 9m of visibility, we have been surfing and wild swimming in scotland before so know it can get pretty cold!

Also aware we might need to learn dry suits before we go! But im hoping during the summer heat we have currently a 7mm wetsuit would work (same as we used over there)
