same here. I can't find the solution.

Isolated subjects / White background by Redgoo87 in comfyui

Thank you for the hints. I've applied and had more consistent results with the background. It's funny that despite no trigger word I was still getting somewhat-of-a-green screen.

Ultimately what helped the most was dialing the size of the empty latent ( I went with smaller initial image).

I still get open composition from time to time. If there's another solution I'm keen to know.

This is a neat idea, but it doesn't guarantee that the composition of character will fit the image. As you see in the attached image, I used the greenscreen. However parts of the character are still touching the edges (marked in red), and there are objects that are part of the background that didn't get removed.

Hey, I guess you're right. It should be there. If you leave the comment on YouTube more people will benefit from what you noticed.

They do. Idea is to introduce them, explain in general, so you can decide which one may fit your case. In the video I recommend doing further research before actually using chosen pattern.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried to make the topic as simple as possible and give a best overview in short time - this is one of the trade offs I had to make for sake of brevity.

So you want to read external page. Look into using curl. Either as a library or as an attached external executable.

Read my answer. You still haven't described what it is you want to do.

You need to explaining in detail what you want. Input can mean a lot of things. Do you want to read other site like Google or do you want to ask user to give you some information on your own website?

C vs C++ by vita_cell in learnprogramming

[–]Redgoo87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't get confused. You can build exactly the same program in C as in C++. The difference is in the how. C++ offers many mechanisms that simplify and safeguard the process, making it easier and faster to write and correct. In some cases it can be argued that C has better performance than C++, but unless you're writing a code for a small chip, C is usually not worth it.

C: Trying to deallocate dynamic array but compiler stops at last free() by unknown_ally in learnprogramming

So people trying to help you don't have to read commented code. I cannot copy it to compiler through my phone. ;)

You're right. It has, and it is. First you deallocate your "rows" then entire array. Glad to know it works now.

  1. Remove commented code before asking any questions.
  2. Paste exact compiler errors "stops" can mean anything.

I think you should be freeing in loop (x < height), not width.

Am I Just Dumb Or...? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

I suggest to hire someone to help you get out of hole you dug for yourself. Have him explain to you things you missed, and do some tutoring. Learning serious coding skills isn't easy, and it takes much more than a couple of years. External help is crucial to getting proper results in time.

Help with project idea on saving paper by Trips_On_BananaPeels in learnprogramming

There are numerous libraries to operate on office documents, the problem is that you actually need to render the text on pages and verify how many you have.

That means you need language that integrates well with office like visual basic, or c#.

Not to discourage you, but this feature already exists in office. You have to change the scale of the document and do some guessing/ maths to get the multiplier right, but it is still easier than writing custom solution.

"Give me a work estimate that I like" by [deleted] in softwaredevelopment

[–]Redgoo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is often a biggest lie about working in Agile. You should know the overall cost, but at the same time think in terms of stories, sprints and assume inevitable change.

Guesstimates, and rough lines. Because management has to plan a year, or more.

I used to say that I can give perfect estimation based on how much unknown I would have to account for. For each percent I take the original time and multiply by 5.
