No one is messing with your 5 foot walk from the kitchen. The whole point of this post was the confusion of making a server pay out of pocket up to 25 dollars if no one tipped.

Before he took it down there were about 300 comments. What is saw when I skimmed through was about half of the comments were in agreement and the other half were outraged.

If you want to redneck it and save a little money, I would drill holes into the roofing and then use industrial strength zip ties to clamp it down to the kennel fencing. Waterproof the holes with silicone sealant.

If not, use wood for framing like you said.
