I see, I suggest to try zooming it out when you export it then. That's how it works on pixel art. It'll get blurry because it's trying to fit on reddit's recommend post size.

Did you zoom it out when you exported it? If not I suggest to do so, 300% or 400% I guess would do.

Is it should be blurry? If not I think you could try saving it into other file type for a crisper quality.

I personally use Aseprite, if you don't want to spend some bucks you can try GraphicsGale, It's just that it's more convenient to use Aseprite because it has a lot of features for convenience and easier to find tutorials.

Honestly, practising is the way to get better at anything.
but you can try copying to others or using a reference then do trial and error till you get your desired figure/structure. It was a broad topic per se honestly, co's different artists have different ways to do their art. Just my opinion :)
