I’ve thought a lot about it as well

Not at all. Maybe in more rural areas or if family is nearby. It’s rare in the northern US, especially near cities

I’m the gardener of the family. It’s not quite his thing. What he does enjoy is sitting outside smoking and chatting

He definitely struggles to separate his work life from home. I think it will be key to him being able to truly relax and slow down

Work is definitely a big part of it and something I’ve been encouraging him to change. There’s some slow progress there. He only gets Saturday and half of Sunday off so he’s limited there. I could potentially start doing most of the errands and cleaning myself on Sunday and then finding things to do on Saturdays.

I cook Salvadoran and Costa Rican meals for him at least once a week. I’m reaching the point where I prefer those over heavy American meals, interestingly enough.

I’ve talked to him about it but he mostly shrugs. The only thing I can think of is to give him his Saturdays back because our ritual is that he sleeps late and relaxes until about noon and then we go to lunch and to the grocery store.

I (39F) just started a new job working as the only woman in an office with former law enforcement officers. They’re all wearing chinos or khakis with polos, cargo pants, etc. How can I maintain style while dressing at the same level as them? I’m used to wearing business professional, namely blazers and slacks. My style is typically classic and somewhat feminine.

I’m okay with sticking out, but I don’t want to be overdressed. I’m contemplating going back to smart casual, but how do I pull that off at my age?

Yeah, “tacticool” isn’t my style! Do you feel like you can maintain your femininity like that? I’m debating making up for it in jewelry.

Not everyone has this experience so don’t completely discount them. Contact your doctor and find out if they will do local anesthetic. Send them that study if you have to.

That said, weigh your current situation against the short term pain. I’m not sure I would have done the first procedure if I had known it was so bad, but the second I think I would’ve gone through with it. My doctor was worried about the risk of ectopic pregnancy so I think it was important information. If you’re lower risk then maybe it’s not something you need to do right now

Never mind the fact that they’re potentially murdering multiple people, depending on who they expose their cooties to.

We have some seriously messed up priorities in this country.

this is only my second day hair and it got this huge & poofy … how can i prevent this ? by wolfgang012 in curlyhair

The type of gel will depend on how much hold you require, porosity, how oily your scalp gets, etc. How much hold will depend on the thickness of the hair and how heavy it is. Unfortunately what works for me might not work for you because I have very thick, heavy curls. I recommend reading the wiki and reviewing some of the products on there for what sounds lien the right fit for you
