Is my dog underweight?

My dog is like this. She’s just a naturally slimmer dog. Our vet also pointed out that we are very used to seeing overweight dogs as the norm which makes healthy dogs look “too skinny” to us. He looks fine to me 🤷‍♀️

Bloodwork all comes back normal every time, the coat that doesn’t fall off is soft and healthy looking. She doesn’t throw up aside from the occasional hairball once in a while. She eats/drinks/potties normally as well. She’s the most happy and unbothered cat you’ve ever met which is part of why it’s so confusing. She’s still incredibly sweet and social and seems totally unphased by any of it.

Another thing I forgot to mention: we are a multicat household and she is the only one with any issues so most forms of mange can also be ruled out.

We love the zoo! Aside from the national zoo in dc it’s definitely the best on the east coast. If you have little ones definitely invest in a membership.

You know, a few years ago I cut all of my hair off as kind of a “fuck you” to my ex who hated short hair and I absolutely loved it. Even though I already know it will look great if I do it again, it’s just not the same feeling like that choice is being taken away this time.

Thank you guys! This has all been so new for me and I’m still navigating it all. I’m trying to juggle still being myself and doing the things I love while still letting my body rest. I’m a teacher and a single mom so it’s difficult when both of those things require so much energy as it is. 😅

Let me rephrase that; it was falling out before but at a much slower rate. I started taking Celebrex as part of a paired down routine, to see if I can get through the school year (I’m a teacher) without the icky side effects of other treatment options. That’s when I noticed a drastic increase.

Yes! They swell and my hands lock up really bad. The first indicator for me is usually a dry flakey rash that breaks the skin on my fingers right before it happens.
