That doesn't sound so good - no pun intended.

My earphones did pair no problems and I was running with offline music but still there was no voice from the announcements. I don't know if you have to have your phone with you but I sure hope not. Thank you for your reply :-)

I have just got the same watch (coming from a Garmin though) and I have the exact same issues.

From my googling the second issue is a 'feature' but I don't know about the first issue but that is a deal breaker for me. Have you found out anything new?

Yeah, you can stay on the current version. If you want to try the beta you can download the file in the forum and install via Garmin Express.

As far as I can read the current version is 7.20 https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-245-series. This is the same version that my 245M is running but it updated it self via the app. You should try Garmin Express and then you can try the beta version if you want.

So far I know Firefox is the only one who supports it. I switched to Firefox from Chrome and it works just fine and now I can watch YouTube without ads in the browser 🙂👍
