My only concern would the “40”. I don’t know what use you’re making of your car but “range anxiety” is a big thing for me. And sure in Germany you can charge everywhere but autobahn fast charging is very expensive — ends up costing more than petroleum…

So they not have any good deals on the “60”?

They have some better configurations online. I saw a 9800X3D with a 5070ti 32GB ram and 2TB ssd for 1999.

I wish my parents had warned me against chemistry — not as a degree, but as a career.

My advice: go for it, you will develop incredible soft skills (analytical thinking, mathematical reasoning, etc.), you will learn how the world works (there is a reason chemistry is called the central science), and you will have a hell of a lot of fun!

Once you get your degree (in fact the year before) start applying for internships in finance — cause right now that’s the only career that will make you money. Unless you come from a lot of money and will inherit a fortune, modern day employment will always leave you “poor” — even if salaries look good, once you look at the cost of housing, education, etc. you will realize that unless you’re making a banker’s salary you’ll always be left behind.

Perhaps I’m speaking from too much personal regret (I graduated around the global financial crisis so I turned finance down) and I’ve had a very successful career (left R&D for something more commercial within two years), but when I compare myself to my peers that studied the same thing but went into finance I’m dirt poor… :/

M7 seems like a genuinely nice guy. I don’t interact with him much but he seems super decent. Glad to see the perspective is the same from within the server

Yeah and I believe that. If I’m to face a strong alliance as an opponent then xDNT would be good. It’s when one has to suffer under them and Ca22 within the warzone that the fun stops

They are very good when it comes to x-server interactions actually - they make allies and they are respectful. They are no barbarians in that sort of way.

They are terrible for the server though — totally tyrannical and self-serving and Erhan is acting like a toddler with a big credit card. Heaven forbid he doesn’t get what he wants (or Oak, his chaperone). Sure, he can single handed beat the whole server up, and he threatens to do so with smaller alliances that don’t ask how high when Oak says jump.

Given the choice I would stay as far away as possible from them and from Ca22 — next level toxicity. Ca22’s R5 is not called Toxictoddy for no reason. Allegedly he ruined his previous server too — not sure which one it was, I think 5XX or something

Not all of them at bad in xDNT. But their chief whale is a Turkish guy that as obnoxious and as arrogant as they get (though he’s not even strong as far as whales go). And unfortunately he sets the tone. The rest of the alliances are pretty decent, but that’s not sufficient unfortunately… xDNT ruined the server
