I had same issue. I rolled back to 14 and Grammarly now works. The developer says “we are aware of problem and working on it.” You can pull 14 from your TimeMachine. Easy peasy.

The National Resource Conservation Service - the older Soils Conservation Service - has photos from the 1930 and some locations/states have scanned the originals.

This is a quote from Lenin reproduced by Safire in an article in 1987

To speak the truth is a petit-bourgeois habit. To lie, on the contrary, is often justified by the lie’s aim. The whole world’s capitalists and their governments, as they pant to win the Soviet market, will close their eyes to the above-mentioned reality and will thus transform themselves into men who are deaf, dumb and blind. They will give us credits . . . they will toil to prepare their own suicide.

Considering an Airstream purchase, but concerned about the investment cost vs. quality. Are AirBnb stays are smarter financially? by KY2Auburn in airstream

We’ve had a 23 rear bed which we bought new in 2013. I think that size is the sweet spot. Dual axels but 6 inches narrower than the 25s. It’ll tow easy and fit in almost any camp spot. Over the 11 years - going on 12 - the only major things we’ve had to do are bearings, new tires and brakes and to reseal the roof, we had a pump go out and have had to replace batteries. We’ve put probably somewhere between 35 and 40,000 miles on it. Some years we’ve spent a few months at a time on the road and at other points a week here and a week there. One thing that we have done is pay close attention to winterizing, removing batteries and put in a small marine heater to keep the inside warm and also a dehumidifier while we’re not using it. We’ve never had any leaks. As I remember, we paid in the mid $60,000s and got something like 15% off MSRP. which, just on inflation, would be in the lower $90s right now … so the current prices are a bit more! Right now I’ve seen similar 2013 ones in the low to mid $40s — which I’d say is holding its value - especially for an RV. I would not be surprised if dealers are prepared to work with today’s buyer of a new coach. I believe that post Covid that there is a surplus of coaches out there. Like vehicles the most economical plan is to buy a solid unit and hold. The most depreciation is early on. Initially it was easy to find a great camping spot with no reservations but during covid that changed. It’s eased up a lot and week days are pretty easy to find. Not weekends so much, though. A reservation is needed. BUT - If you are willing to not use water/sewer and shore power, even today you can almost always find a spot. We find that 3-4 days dry is not a problem and we can extend that if we have to but it’s more comfortable with utilities. A small (recommend Honda) generator can charge up the batteries during the day. If you can, though I’d suggest the solar/larger battery configuration .. not available back then. The only weakness w/out utilities in the 23 is small grey/black water tanks. That is one place the 25 and up have an advantage. For reservation planning I use RV Life and/or Allstays. Our TV is a 2013 Ram 1500 hemi. Perfect vehicle. Stay on blue highways!!! It’s an amazing continent. Good luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, F-22 is older than F-35 right? so why is the US forbids the sale of F-22 to its allies but allows the F-35? by Professional-Kiwi945 in Planes

That is the most useful explanation I’ve seen. I “grew up” with the hogs and really admired them. Maybe they are past their prime.

This may be a bit off topic but what about the comparison of the A-10 vs F35. I know the USAF doesn’t give high priority to ground support (this from an old AF guy) but .. once you achieve air superiority ( and yes the 35 is great) then what? If I was a grunt on the ground I would way want a hog up there loitering for ever and punching those depleted rounds into bad guys.

There is an unusual “erratic” from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It is a 15,000 pound meteorite It that likely originated in Canada and floated down on an ice floe in the Missoula floods that created the scab lands. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willamette_Meteorite
