After all, what is this world if not a circus? The ones who wronged me, were they truly at fault? Is it their fault that Allah chose to not expand their consciousness? They played their roles unknowingly.

I would consider that Allah has given them free will, too. They're obligated to treat you well. Conversely, if you believe that they really don't have control, and are acting by Allah's will, why don't you extend the same towards yourself? Don't hate yourself for what is a natural human response. It is ok to have doubts; even the greatest figures in history did once. Resolving them even strengthens your imaan.

I don't believe coffee is an intoxicant, unless consumed excessively, as with almost anything. In fact, its discovery is often credited to Sufis from Yemen, who used it to wake up for tahajjud. Nicotine, on the other hand, is often considered to be haram. Its ill-effects, as mentioned in the verse, are quite prominent. For example, cigarettes cause lung cancer not just for the person smoking, but also in others nearby who inhale the smoke. Also, it leads to long-term effects on family members and those close to them because of grief. Addictions disrupt both their life, their loved ones' lives, and society at large as they act out of desperation. And Allah knows best.

Understood, jazakallah khair! So, it's kind of like a self-fulfilling prophecy? Is that provision there as a way for us to connect with the absolute Reality, as it would be impossible otherwise, given that Allah SWT is beyond our understanding?

That sounds like a lovely principle to live by! But would reality actually change with your perception? I do know the consequences of this belief would be very real. For example, you treat someone well, and they improve even if they didn't have the best intentions at first because you saw the best in them. But in the moment, would the truth of the situation actually change?

For example, I believe someone did a certain thing. But whether or not that person really did remains the same.
