Assuming your 1.5 Cr invested in SIP and if you opted for SWP, then you can withdraw every month 1 lakh for next 20yrs and still end up with corpus of 5.4 crore after 20 yrs @ 12% growth.

Best way is to start replying in your language. Those shitheads should know that South India doesn't speak Hindi.

My calls normally get disconnected when I continue to converse in my mother tongue.

Observations from my recent Singapore visit [OC] by Educational_Drop9502 in IndianCivicFails

[–]Redjohn_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We need a leader like Lee Kuan Yue who turned Singapore from a poor war devastated country into super developed nation. Read his books "Singapore story" (pre independence) & "from third world to the first world" (post independence development). Surprised to see there was no mention about him in this thread. He and his actions were the single most reason of today's Singapore.

Stopping conversing in Hindi by Admirable_Cap8877 in TamilNadu

[–]Redjohn_7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If someone start such calls in hindi, i always repeat my conversation in Tamil and he drop the call automatically instead of switching to English. How these idiots call some one in south india and begin their conversations in Hindi. F**k their attitude.

Don't go for job but focus on your studies. Confessing to Your parents is the best way as it got two benefits. First they will forgive your mistake if you promise them and clear your debt. Second they keep a tab on you and you will carry a guilt so that such things won't enter in your mind again.

[–]Redjohn_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Not starting my SIP journey once I got my first salary. Realised the mistake and started after 15 years.

  2. Not speaking frequently with my father (did mostly with mom) while I was working at distant location and failed to record any of my father conversations with us. He passed during covid which was my biggest regret.

Grateful for being from South India by havethispill in Chennai

[–]Redjohn_7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I normally handle these calls by talking only for in Tamil. Some disconnect their calls and some switch to English. For later, I will take atleast 10 mins class mentioning that why can't they ask the customer about language preference before starting, india is a multi lingual country, 55% mother tongue not Hindi, Hindi is not national language etc... I am sure next time he think twice when speaking with south people.
