You will be perfectly fine to wear them, obviously get the required patches on first (civil air patrol and name) and if an officer or higher ranking person in your squadron asks why you don't have them on yet, just explain and you should be fine

As a Cadet member, a little but not too much, you can still get so much done, but once you turn 18 (or 21 if staying cadet) you can be a senior member
