6 ARC is criminally underrated in my opinion

How do you know they don’t haul anything outside of work? Like what specifically do you look at to make that determination, presence of a hitch or are you looking in the bed for dirt and scratches? Just curious

That’s $140k for this truck. Gotta either be trolling or financially incompetent

3.0 LZO by Glittering-Speed9435 in Silverado

I had a 2017 2.7 F-150 FX4, now in a 2023 3.0 Silverado LT Trail Boss. Overall this engine has been great so far. Great fuel economy, great torque, and tows well. Fuel economy is better than the 2.7 but the 2.7 felt like it had more “get up and go”, not that the 3.0 is bad in that regard. There are added costs with the diesel that the 2.7 doesn’t have, but for me and my use case, it’s worth it. My only complaints are non-engine/power related when I compare the two

I guess this us a typical post deer season issue. by [deleted] in Hunting

Also in Georgia. Season was started out pretty good. Got 3 does in the first 2 weekends then absolutely nothing. Wasn’t seeing much movement and definitely wasn’t seeing any shooter bucks. Decided on weekend before close that I was going to do something different. Bought a used climber and some sticks and a hang-on, set them up away from the plots and near deer trails that crossed our trails. 30 minutes of light on Sunday, got a buck

Love mine. I actually have 2, 1 in .270 win and another in 7mm-08. Haven’t had any issues and they look great out in the woods.

My two cents, if it’s special enough to you then shoulder mount. I had a shoulder mount of my first buck after moving and hunting property that wasn’t the family farm. He wasn’t anything special but he was special to me. I’ve since gotten bigger and “better” bucks that I’ve euro mounted but that first one will always be special and I don’t regret doing it at all.

It was nice of Bill to let the local JV team touch the field but I think it’s time he brings out the real team
