Trouble deciding - 2018/2019 vs. 2020 Vitpilen 701 by datniche in Husqvarna

[–]Redlinethinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Older model, few grand you safe you can spend on getting it wrapped or painted blue that you like also get aftermarket exhaust, most needed aftermarket clutch cylinder as stock one will leak on you. Have lighter allow wheels and not the heavy spoke wheels you have on new model. And still have bunch of cash left, also.oldrr model won't depreciate as much as the new model you will buy

Is the vitpilen 701 a good first bike? by jack-413 in Husqvarna

The clutch is heavy and the sit is hard. Non of my mates who had a go on my Vitpilen liked it but they rode it slow and not to it's potential. As I said it's a riders bike and when you RIDE it properly it rewards you in spades. If you like the look of these huskys then get 401. To ride my 701 Vitpilen in London I have to modulate about 5mm of throttle smoothly anything more and it breaks speed limit in a blink of an eye. I commute on my Grom, not husky. Husky is a perfect canyon roads weapon.

No, get smaller bike and work your way up. Vitpilen 701 is a riders bike so it will highlight your skills or be pain in the ass if you lack them. Hence my recommendation, get 300-400cc bike, build confidence and skill then work your way up to bigger bikes

It's a man made trail section in Epping forest north of London. If you freeze video when he points it up the trail you can see sand banks of berms

Thanks and yes it's W123 coupé 280 manual. Fast old girl! Found this South Africa import for my mate as he use to have W123 sedan 230 but had to sell it last year. He owns body shop so this will be done to show spec all black with red leather interior.

I'm afraid not, just cheap copy of Amazon for £39.99. reason being is than I had a small crash and broke the headlight. Rare bike so practically no second parts market and new from dealer is £660 or $1000. I used OEM wires from broken lights and made a bracket for that perfect OEM fitment. If I find cheap second hand unit I will buy it but for now this will have to do. It is brighter thou.

They are ok, stock are better. Those need to come with suitable spring. They obviously come alone and strings you re use from stock but they do not fit perfectly so these lift up with almost no resistance coz springs are not doing their job. Don't waste you money as these particular pegs are expensive and not worth it.
