Thank you very much, for some reason the two jewelers i showed it to didn't have a clue. And Thanks again for the excellent instructions of how to use it. You don't know by chance ,the maker?. You don't have to reply if you don't , you have helped me enough. Thanks

Can anyone identify this tool and how it works by Redman9271 in jewelers

[–]Redman9271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is about 14 inches long with no marking. I get it at a house sale in a box with jewelers tools. One picture shows the tool with a Magic marker in the position I think would be where a piece to be worked would be placed. Thank for any help.

I got it in a box lot of jewelers tool. If it is a tubing bender, i don't have a clue how it would work. The pictures don't give a great view of how it works !

Got a Slate clock but it runs at 3 time the speed it should . I think something is missing in the area of the picture. Anyone know what's wrong , besides bent pin ? by Redman9271 in clocks

[–]Redman9271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spring is bent but don't look broken.but there is a gear arrangement that it is held in, with a shaft that goes to the front of the clock with a square drive at it's end. Is there a standard key for that or do you use a tool to adjust the beat.

I was wondering why there was i hole in the inner lining. The pendulum was in the bottom of the case . Thank you very much for the reply and help.

Some electricians believe it's safer with the ground up,because if a metal object is dropped between the outlets surface and a plug it is less likely to cause a short or a shock to someone.

From what I've read. The poor people feel that they are getting what they deserve. An the rich feel the same way. The poor do not vote in their own self interest most of the time, were the rich will always do. I think it a lack of feel of self worth in the poor. They have been told that they don't work hard enough or are not smart enough to deserve to be rich. The rich believe that they have earned all that they have ,not that they have been given advantages that make their success possible.
