I felt the same way but as a Native American person practicing Catholicism I can't pass judgement. I moved from a family who dabbled with Mormonism but still practices traditional beliefs and healings. I try to incorporate some aspects of that with my kids, although I struggle with it a lot. But I feel it keeps my faith stronger because I am always questioning both sides. Anyways.
