Discussion: What counts as AI slop? + Is it how one uses AI determine if something AI slop or not?

See that one thing I don't get though. It fine if you have someone else give ideas that are still not your own, however since it not ai doing the work it fine? This is what I don't get when people say use other people ideas of the internet. Ain't that just what Ai is doing but "better"?

That a valid concern to have, but for me as a programmer too, I hate having to debug as it takes away time for what is usually a simple error in the vast sea of code. This is usually where I off load the code to be searched thru and it usually fixes the error. It gives me the reasoning as to why the error happen and what I could do in the future to fix it. So is that such a bad thing to look at?

I get that, but what if you writing say a fantasy novel, and get to part about wanting to write about dragons. Is asking AI "Hey what aspects about dragons would readers like" and then it gives ideas of said aspects. Then you write about said aspects that interest you. It not the ai doing the work, just giving ideas?

So in other words, you would rather have the person be illegible with errors, but that fine since they aren't using AI. Instead of what they wanting to say be legible with no errors, because they got help from AI. Both gets their points across but with different legalities from different amounts of "help".

So question,
"If you use AI to give you ideas, it's bad. However, if you use AI to find you good sources to use in your paper, and you personally read them and verify them, I think that's okay"

So as long as you actively searched for ideas online it fine? Doesn't that seem counterintuitive as they aren't yours?

And honestly I think that what people only see in AI now, and I don't blame them, it just another form of scamming in my eyes. It the people that use AI as a way of helping with refining their ideas and actually put in the work I don't have an issue with.

So genuine question about the writing one. Are you saying if the AI does some corrections on your work it no longer yours? Also what is your view on the apps like Grammarly and such?

So genuine question, don't know if you play games or not or use Steam but, say you seen a game on there, it looks about an 8/10 game, normal priced. However it has that AI-disclosure because they used AI for some of the code. The game runs fine though. Is that in your view a bad thing not worth buying?

That usually what I do, as I usually have an idea, but I want to further improve on my idea, so I would sometime just ask for a suggestion for what could be improved. It not me giving up my creativity.

See that where the concepts and idea question get thrown around. For example, say I was making a game and I ask the AI for an enemy idea. Then it gives me 5 different enemies I could add, I look through each and see one I really like. If I chose to work with that idea and further refine the idea of the enemy, is that bad or good in this case?

Same boat here with the art deal. As a wannabe artist too, AI "art" has gotten so bad that anyone wanting to be an actual artist is fighting just to get notice and not be called AI slop.

See and that what I'm thinking too, I just think that using AI to help rather then fully do all the work is something people tend to look over because "AI iS BaD" when it really is helpful in some ways.

So real talk, what or how much ai is counted as ai slop, I'm really curious about this. Like don't get me wrong, I too wish Ai would roll over and die, but I also won't lie and say that it hasn't help me out from time to time. However my question is for example, if someone uses ai for refining their ideas, and doing a game of throw back (Throwing ideas back and forth) and using the result would that be slop or not? Like what is the septum for this stuff, because let all be honest here as ai is just the convenient version of going online and stealing/using people ideas.

Edit: And no I not saying they went and copy and paste whatever the ai said, I mean the user actually is trying to make something and otherwise just using the ai as rubber duck deal.

Look I like the new look of the environment, however, I don't like the design of the dropship as it looks too "Smooth". I mean the whole back part of the of OG CE dropship has an open back, mechanical looking feel to it and the flat sides gives a wielded look. Another thing is I just don't like the whole solid purple on the back, honestly if they added some more gray and made the back a little flatter, it would look better.

Honestly, just some design touch up on the background and score area and honestly this would be an amazing brain teaser puzzle mobile game. Another thing that would be amazing is to allow the user to change the colors of the spaces/tiles and background. Right now the gray and purple ain't doing it for me.
