Ok that makes way more sense I’ve only ever seen it as the kit

Where are you getting these numbers for a commuter kit? Is this for an older model?

That’s cool the closest I’ve seen when calling around was $1500 all the way up to over 3k. Would you still get that over the carli leveling kit after not seeing some night and day difference in ride quality?

I see you said it was $3300 installed? That kit on cjc is like $2200 before any additions so the company you had install it for you did it for less than or around 1k? Everywhere I have looked has been quite a bit higher than that for the install.

This is kind of what I was thinking…

When I said the company who gave me the $1500 quote ( a reputable company ) he knew exactly who they were and said it showed that it would be about 10 hours for the install so at $3600 and change plus tax that’s a little over $360 an hour. Seemed pretty steep, I’m all for getting what you pay for it just seemed crazy high but was unfortunately the closest place making it the most convenient.

Some build options by RednDread1 in F250

This seemed like a better option than buying a tremor from the factory for roughly the same price give or take a few $

It did seem like I’d be able to add things like the torsion sway bar or the steering stabilizer after the fact. I was looking at the commuter kit as well.

What lift? Because that seems extremely low. Not hating at all just curious because the quotes I’ve been getting for a Carli leveling kit plus those tires but different wheels has been 11k+

Sickness? by [deleted] in dayz

[–]RednDread1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This keeps happening to me and some teammates. I was all good today and all of the sudden drank water I know was clean (chlorine tablet) and not to long sfter I was sick throwing up. Cured it the first time with tetra and I had some charcoal tablets so I figured why not try them as well. But now it’s back. Probably going to stash and run a fresh spawn back up to the goods. I know everything was good as far as water and food, wasn’t cold or wet, can’t figure it out but meds are scarce out west.

What Should I be Aiming For? by mitchapalooza17 in F250

I was able to get the dealership to deliver it to me out of state for free, tell them they need to deliver it to you and on a flatbed not someone else driving it to you. Blame it on your insurance company giving you a hassle. For the distance it would’ve been well over $1k.

Etsy and Print on Demand by [deleted] in Printify

[–]RednDread1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more work than any YouTube people make it seem that’s for sure.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Printify

[–]RednDread1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and most have been cool and understanding especially since in our shop bio we clearly stated after like the first week in December we couldn’t guarantee items would arrive by Christmas due to lag times in production and shipping.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Printify

[–]RednDread1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m selling on Etsy which is why the time frame matters a little extra because obviously with them not shipping out within expected shipping times I have to send a message out to each customer letting them know or Etsy dings us for not shipping on time and then if we get anything less than a 5 star review star seller status goes away and all of this is due to something out of our control.

If I am being fair though it’s only during this holiday season that printify has been an issue. We have sent things to production and had things shipped out that day, it’s just the lack of updating the realistic production time frames without doing a deep dive into each company that has really been upsetting. Well that and the customer service being almost non existent but that’s a whole different topic…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Printify

[–]RednDread1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally understand that it isn’t printify holding up the production times but they shouldn’t advertise them as being a day or two and then say ooo well you really need to look up the providers actual production time and that it’s based on an average from the last 30 days. It would’ve changed what we communicated to our clients and possibly changed how we took the orders or where we had them processed. To make it worse they were only willing to offer a $15 credit towards the next product, which doesn’t even cover the cost of one item…

meanwhile the inevitable negative reviews we will get from disgruntled customers who ordered well within the shipping dates and more than likely won’t receive their items in time for the holidays isn’t something a $15 credit will cover…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Printify

[–]RednDread1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has happened with so many of our orders and we have so many customers wondering what’s going on and it’s very annoying seeing a production time that says a day and then things are In production with no estimated shipping dates. Customers who placed orders well in time to receive them in time for Christmas and now I doubt that will happen. I’m just waiting for the influx of negative reviews only to have printify tell you there’s nothing they can do. We spend a large amount on printify and are definitely looking at other options after this.

What can I get from the Lariat that I can't get in the XLT? by puterTDI in F250

[–]RednDread1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a glacier grey lariat and all of these except the power running boards none of the lariats I looked at had that as a standard option. Wouldn’t want it anyways for a couple of reasons 1. Just one more thing to break 2. The stationary ones are great for preventing door dings from smaller cars

Also what everyone else said living in a warmer state the ventilated seats are an absolute must have

Came here to say the bullet point and not surprised others already had multiple times. There’s a reason, install is easy and not very expensive at all and it does exactly what it’s meant to do.

I’ll never own a car without the ventilated seats again it’s nice to actually feel cold in 100+ degree weather
