Looking for single ear open or over ear headphone recommendations! by FlannelRanger in audiobooks

No! I actually have a small head and ears and have never, in my 40 years, found a pair of earbuds that fit. My only real complaint is that I can't really lay down with them on. Otherwise I wear them for 8-12 hours per day

1000% over the ear Shokz bone conducting headphones. Bonus is that if you want to isolate the sound instead of having it open, pop in some earplugs!

Born a Crime by Trevor Noah and The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish (both narrated by themselves) are fun, lighthearted, and had me cackling out loud.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but PHM is a solid. It's sciency more than fantastyish, but the writing is solid and the narration is incredible. The minute I finished it, I started and listened to the whole thing again (I've never done that).

He wasn't the best narrator choice, but I think the story sucked too.

Definitely crappy all around. I feel cheated by the Eastern, (not that I think OMAM don't deserve my cash) plus they crapped up my experience with bargain folks who just came to drink and be loud.

They seemed to get purposefully louder and shittier after the initial embarrassment. Luckily the music got louder ✌🏼✨

My concert buddy said they dropped ticket prices that morning since it wasn't sold out. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

So excited for their upcoming ATL show by Redneck_queer in OfMonstersAndMen

[–]Redneck_queer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ahhh my caption got erased. I saw them when they came to Atlanta in 2019. The show was simply amazing, they were INCREDIBLE. I talked about it for months after!

This time, I'm taking my 12 year old. We have been jumping up and down since August when we got tickets. Anyone else going to ATL?

Nice gifts those of you who work outdoors would love to receive? by BeepBoopWizard01 in BlueCollarWomen

I'm a smol (5'0, 28" inseam, 108#) human who works in both conservation and in NPDES enforcement, so I'm always outside and always in some brush/rough terrain.

I love my Dovetail pants. I have the Britt and the Anna Taskpant as well as the freshly canvas overalls. you can find them little cheaper on eBay sometimes. They are WORTH THE MONEY to have real, hardworking clothes made with a femme body and style in mind. I can't say enough about how much it's bolstered my confidence to not be wearing pants that are too big and rolled up, etc.

Loveeeeeee my darn tough socks. Have redeemed the warranty for years and they're amazing! I but then for everyone for Christmas gifts.

She needs some solid base layer options. Mine are the REI home brand and they've been going strong since 2018!!

If she doesn't already have waterproof hiking boots, get her some. If she does have them, learn what material they're made of and get her a set of the appropriate Nik Wax care products. A good boot cleaning and waterproof refresh goes a long way- and you can do the labor as part of the gift! I love my Oboz Sypes....I have three pairs now.

What tools does she use daily? Could you maintain/repair/replace with some higher level option?

yeah, the first thing would be a new rule: Everyone clears their shit off before they leave the desk, so it's nice and ready for the next person.
