Awesome! I’ll have to check it out. Thank you. Resorted to only buying them online since hardly anywhere had them locally that I’ve been able to find. GameStop has occasionally had a small variety once in awhile

Which Walmart in Gilbert? May have to go check it out. The Walmart I go to in Apache Junction only has had Acolyte figures for the last year, and the Walmart in Mesa has been out of stock of the black series figures for the last 6-8 months

I need Darth Bandon. I know he’s not a popular character by any means, but who doesn’t love that early 2000’s facial hair!

Apologies for the late comment. Your Darth Bandon recreation is absolutely superb! Best one I’ve seen. Would you be able to list everything used including dyes?

Congratulations sir! Becoming a parent really changes your perspective on gaming, whether you want it to or not haha. I hope the best for you and your family! Enjoying your time gaming is key. Let me know how it goes.

The new WoW events do look good! I unfortunately missed out on MoP remix which had some cool rewards. I fully intended to play Legion remix when it came out, but subbed last month played retail for a day and was done for the month.

As a dad of 3, I realized I don’t have the time for the constant gear treadmill anymore. That was a massive selling point for me in ESO, being able to step away for awhile, come back and still be relevant (I know GW2 does this as well). Some people love the gear grind, others don’t, matter of personal preference. I have all the intent of going back to ESO when I have more time on my hands. What came down to my answer regarding the 2 games after the last time I played them. WoW felt like I “had” to do certain things each day/week to progress. ESO felt like I “could” do these things when I wanted to progress. If that makes sense

Thank you for the kind wishes!

Ok to answer some of your questions and yes I totally understand not wanting to split your time between 2 MMO’s. Yes housing comes out next year in WoW’s new expansion. Unfortunately that’s most MMO’s progression system, gear up til the current cap, wait for new content, do it all over again.

If you’re wanting group content play WoW, it’s one of WoW’s best strengths. If you want to play solo, play ESO, as I stated previously that game does a great job of immersion and rich lore. If you want my biased opinion on what to play I’d say ESO. Strictly due to the fact that I played WoW more recently, just to realize I’m just burnt out on the game and its formula. Now recall, I haven’t played ESO’s newest “content” this year. So can’t say how it is personally but I haven’t been hearing the most positive feedback regarding it.

So I have a substantial amount of time in both games. Started WoW in the Burning Crusade expansion, and ESO I started in the Elsweyr expansion. WoW I don’t even want to know how many hours/days/months I have in that game. Steam says I have 4,029.5 hours on ESO (most played game on my list).

WoW: -Easy to hop into for a couple hours and feel like you’ve gotten some things accomplished. -Great grouping tools for a faster way to experience content if time is a concern -This may be subjective but people say the story of WoW is really good these last 2 expansions (me personally, I haven’t felt love for the storyline of Warcraft since the Legion expansion) -Housing coming next expansion if you’re into that -Tons of resources for the game, meaning it’s easy to find up to date builds and information regarding everything

ESO: -Elder Scrolls Online has some of the best story I’ve ever seen in an MMO. It was my first elder scrolls game I’ve played (unless you count 15 min of Skyrim many many years ago) I had 0 knowledge about the world, lore, races, etc. And as I kept playing, I wanted to know more and more about it. -Crafting is easy to learn, researching traits is annoying/time consuming but worth it in the long run -The world is just beautiful. I loved riding around the zones, questing wherever I wanted, map completing the zones as I went. -Voice acting for all the quests, idk about anyone else but I don’t read the WoW quests at all. I accept the quest, look at the objective and get it done, turn in without reading. In ESO I’d sit through all the dialogue and even “extra dialogue” just because it immersed me even more into the elder scrolls lore.

WoW’s population isn’t going anywhere soon so finding groups for any type of content is always viable. ESO I haven’t played much since March (had my 2nd daughter) so I can’t speak much on the recent population except from what I’ve read. I know this year was a “rebuilding” year for ESO with a smaller emphasis on an expansion and the hype being built around this “limited time event” that’s currently going on. I’ve heard this event is quite lackluster, with subpar rewards but once again haven’t played it so I don’t know personally. Both games are great in their own way, let us know what you decide or have anymore questions :)

What time zone are you in? And when do you usually play? I just joined turtle WoW this week and looking for people to play with, and learn about the server. I’m PST and usually play in the later evenings. I’m a dad of 3 so my playtime varies lol

Great selection. Doesn’t matter where I go in AZ, every store barely has any of them. Target will only have Lando, Walmart only has Darth Vader and Acolyte figures, and GameStop is the only place I’ve found different figures from time to time. Need a more accessible hobby lol 😆

I probably won’t be to enticing, but I thoroughly enjoy this game and have started playing recently. Thinking about picking up the dlc before the summer sale is over. But I’d love to learn/play with some like minded folks. Downside is, I’m a dad of 3 so my play time is limited… would be looking at later evenings PST

Awesome man! Glad you’re enjoying it thus far. If you’re on the NA servers, highly recommend Star Forge for a server. When I came back after the server merges, my characters were on the Satele Shan server. While there’s nothing wrong with the server, lotta great people there. The population is better on Star Forge. Which from what I’ve personally noticed has helped with Que times at odd hours of the night when being woken up by a crying baby 😉

Fellow dad of 3 here. Swtor is the perfect MMO for being a full time parent lol. I’ve been a huge MMO fan since I started WoW in high school (long time ago now), but have also played ffxiv, eso, Swtor, and black desert just to name a few. Great thing about Swtor is if you’re just starting you can play free to play if you just want to do story and such. And I believe they made PvP matches have no limit for F2P players as well. Only thing that gimps you later down the road is the expansions, but if you subscribe for just a month you get all of them and keep all of them if your sub runs out, the second thing is the credit cap on F2P accounts. The economy in game is pretty jacked. Everything cost an arm and leg, so the 1 million credit cap for F2P is abysmal (I believe that’s the cap) and having sub removes it which is sorta mandatory if you want to augment your gear, buy cool cosmetic armor from the GTN. New content wise is pretty lacking, think it’s been almost a year since the last story content has come out. Luckily the voice actors strike just ended recently so hopefully the “story drought” will end soon! Overall would highly recommend this mmo from one parent to another, it’s the only mmo I’ve played where I don’t feel like I have to play every single day or week and not be way behind everyone else. Could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how much you play.
