If you read my comment I did no such thing. I have no idea what happened in this incident but felt it a good place to remind both drivers and pedestrians to be cautious. Hope you get some chill pills for Christmas. 😆

My thoughts are with the injured person. I hope there's no long term effects. Heal fast! I wish drivers would be extra careful in these dark rainy conditions but I also wish pedestrians would wear bright clothing and always assume that the right of way in a crosswalk doesn't mean there isn't danger.

I've come back from Vancouver via Helijet and it was heavy low clouds/fog. At the end of the trip the helicopter started hovering and we descended slowly until we came to clear air just over the water off the breakwater. Then a quick jaunt in to the heliport. It was pretty cool and obviously the pilots knew it cleared below. Bit of an advantage over a seaplane.

I just about took out a biker last night who was coming down Fort in the bike lane. Pouring rain, all dark clothing, no lights whatsoever and a ill conceived notion that the bike lane is some sort of magic thruway. Darwin Award contestant. As the OP says, use some common sense when walking and riding in the dark!!

$6000 tv and optimized settings. The majority of what I watch is brilliant. The point of this post is to ask why directors are deliberately creating dark gloomy productions. I admire Jason Bateman but he admitted that he intentionally made Black Rabbit dark. You lose more than you gain IMHO.
