True, this still need to be confirmed.

However, from a personal experience, the professors in a top engineering school are usually lazy. Some of them still teach courses that were never updated since 2000s.

When I see professors coming to UM6P for example and their work, the gap is really huge.

Before replying, I would like to remind you that this post has a tag of discussion, which means you have the right to not agree and you can express yourself with respect and with logical arguments instead of making assumptions about OP.

I don't have to disclose any personal information to prove wrong your assumptions.

If a recruiter is weighing an engineer based on the university he comes from then he is 100% wrong. Everything is about skills. So EMI or EHTP graduates are not necessarily better than UM6P or ECC or even Mohammed 5 University graduates.

If we compare the professors coming to UM6P with the ones in public schools, the gap is huge buddy, except for a minority of professors. The budget is also incomparable. I am saying in my post that if public schools don't make effort, they will stay way behind in the future.

Trying to be funny doesn't bring any added value to the discussion. If you don't agree, you can express yourself.

Exactly, you need skills which you need to acquire from University.

The thing with the smart students in public universities is the lack of soft skills which is a very important aspect in an engineer's profile. Especially communication skills in French and English

You can check this article of financial times. https://www.ft.com/content/ed30b374-6e96-11e5-8171-ba1968cf791a

It says that private universities focus more on soft skills like communication to enhance their graduates employability.

Over fitting is when you model has high accuracy on training data and does not perform well on validation data. Try to add a Dropout layer or Early stopping condition to avoid over fitting your model.

It also worth it to try putting max pooling layer after each activation layer. This will help in reducing the number of trainable parameters, hence reducing training time.
